Yep, the update seemed to give all my sims ants in their pants too. I lost count how many times they switched seats during a "quick" meal of yogurt. Not so quick anymore :\
@SimGuruRomeo, Speaking of fertilizing plants, any chance the list of available fertilizers could be organized by type as well as quality (like in TS3)? I find the current system really hard to sort through, especially with sims who have large numbers of harvestables in their inventory.
There was a patch released this week, and this happened to me on one of the previous patches. Try logging out of Origin, and then back in, and see if you have an option to update show up. It won't let you play without updating to the latest patch.
There are many, many larger things that I feel are missing, that make this game less enjoyable for me (toddlers, family trees, open world, CASt), however, there are also many small fixes/tweaks I would like to see patched in, as some of these issues can be quite frustrating: -Edge-scrolling needs to be fixed ASAP. The UI…
Ah, you are right about journalism- haven't done the writing career yet in TS4. How about we substitute it with TS2's slacker career track, then :) ...and I'm definitely for getting back family trees!
I would just be extremely happy for now to get all the usual base game careers back, like: Athletic Business Law Enforcement Medicine Military Politics Science Slacker :) Not to mention aspirations that go along with reaching the top of each career. I usually make one sim have a career-based aspiration, so that I can focus…
@Artamishia, @MANDEEx88 You are both very welcome! Best of luck to everyone trying to complete their WL! Here's hoping the prices on venues and worlds are reduced soon and that they have some great holiday sales like they have done in the past.
For angling up or down, I enabled the TS3 camera in options, and then hold down the mouse wheel while dragging the mouse forward or backward. The camera is still horrible, though, and edge scrolling doesn't work for me so well on the bottom of the screen. I hope they improve it...soon. When you are in buy/build mode, you…
Hi Kate :) *waves* You're both very welcome! @Olivesims2, I just looked up the keys in my old TS3 book, and here are a few more. I couldn't find any to rotate the camera up and down though :( "," (Comma) Rotates left "." (Period) Rotates right arrow keys move forward backward and side to side
Thanks for sharing :) I love legacies, but with all the hits family play has taken, I'm not really sure I can hype myself up enough to play one for all that long this time around. As if losing toddlers wasn't bad enough, now we also have no family trees. I mean, seriously, when little Jimmy grows up and hits on the hot…
@lovejoyriteia, It should look like this: [ img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v357/lovejoyrite/Lite-Britecopy.jpg[/img ] (without the space in the first and last bracket)
Aww, man, it must be a glitch. I heard you normally get a large text box telling you all about their EMOTIONS. Like, "toddler makes them happy". Plus, if they have the evil trait, the text will instead say "toddler makes them evil happy". Soooo cool, huh!
Nah, you must have somehow gotten an earlier version of the game before "things changed". I can totally tell, because that grass is way too high of detail to be the current version. (OMG, how did I miss this thread! This has just become my all-time favorite <3 )
Jeans (for females and males) that just look normal...aka: those that aren't "mom jeans", ripped/torn/tattered jeans, skull bedazzled jeans, bellbottom-flared jeans, and the ones with the whiskered lines...just normal, stylish jeans in multiple colors/washes.
I just checked, and it looks like you can still buy them through Origin (https://origin.com/en-us/store/browse?q=simpoints ) via other countries. Just be aware that you can only use them on TS3 stuff, as they will not be redeemable for TS4 content.
Lolol :D Thank you Murfeel for your spot-on review and for making my stomach muscles hurt. Who knew you could get abs of steel by just visiting the forums B)
I agree, Jimboola, some of the lighter colored hair seems especially awkward and blocky. I was also disappointed with some of the longer hairstyles. They seem to look really great from the sides and back, but the front doesn't frame the face all that well, IMO. I do think, with so many people not happy with the hair from…
