  • It depends on how you play. One could say that they would prefer to persue any sims they find attractive without interference from their sim's more narrow criterias, because all this does is limit your gameplay. While it's fun to personalize your sims personalities, it doesn't have many other useful gameplay elements,…
  • Not in my game! In my game it's different for every lot. Even the eco footprint is different from lot to lot. I had a sim living for many years in one house, then she won the lottery and moved to a bigger lot. Now I have to start from 0 initiatives again, and the eco footprint has reset. I don't think it bugged at the…
  • I thought their vote didn't count at all, so I guess the sim in question refused to sign it. I still saw him signing though, so they could have used a different animation at least. And to me it's strange that you can visit neighboor homes for signatures, since every lot has different initiatives. But I'll take your word…
  • I wouldn't center the expansion around the Landlord career, but more around Apartment Living. Almost the same thing. We'd get to chose roommates, new lot traits and challenges, the landlord or real estate agent career. We'd get buildable apartments. Imagine turning an entire neighborhood into multiple apartment complexes…
  • I don't "get" Get Together. You'll only be doing the same things, but surrounded by other sims this time. You can already do social events without this. And honestly the dream of being a dj in a club is a little childish to me (yes I'm old). I recommend Get Famous if you like success stories.
  • Not something I discovered, but I'm often surprised to see that people don't know that they can modify their sims without using a cheat. Just click on a mirror and select "Change Sim" to go into CAS. You'll have access to all the sliders like this. And you can also drag objects off the grid by pushing on Ctrl and dragging…
  • I don't want the game to become nothing but a pretty picture. We've seen how limited the sim artificial intelligence is, and I think there will still be the option to play multiple sims with autonomy on. They say we can make up any scenario, but that's far from the truth. I want them to focus on gameplay first, so if that…
  • When a neighboor comes to my house they always, always empty my fridge. And they don't even eat the food, they just throw it into the sink. They come visit so often it's become useless to cook large meals in advance, it's often wasted. And they often pick up a trash bag and throw it on the ground, then leave, k thx bye…
  • Thank you, I did not know cc could not be included in the gallery, it's reassuring in a way. To be honest I just learned that the make-up called MAC was added by Maxis themselves. There's still some anomalies, but I won't go into details, way too many notes to take and my game is off.
  • The music was catchy in TS2, but they really upped their game in TS4. I love how it slightly changes when browsing categories in build/buy. And there's a lot more categories than previous games.
  • I seriously hope there is no chat feature. I hate typing when I play games. Words never comes out right, it breaks the flow of the game, and it would be even more awkward to play the opposite sex. I hope they keep it simple with no chat features.
  • Sorry, I thought this was about the radio bot that acts a bit like Alexa in the game, not the real Alexa.
  • The tall mirrors that stick to a whole wall tile... I wish we could put things in front of them, like tables and stuff, without moveobject.
  • Then vote! Why are polls so crappy on this forum?
  • 1. What did you first think of the art style? I did not like the style, but the quality was a step up from TS3 for sure (which was to be expected). It was still a good stage to get immersed into, more so than TS3. Loved the sims ; I found them to be well modeled and entertaining to watch. The lighting caught my attention…
  • I'm tired of the small town vibes, I want big cities right from the start and not limited to one or two expansions. I want to see some grime and pollution, not only utopian and colorful garden towns. Granted, we got some of those in TS4, but they were released pretty late. And apartments with roommates in the base game,…
  • @Scobre. My question wouldn't be any different if you exchanged the words sexy to pretty. Just playing the opposite sex even, if you want to include all the types of sim players. But you raise a point I guess, women are objectified by some.
  • There's an actual trivia? In my game it's only simlish, no pop-ups.
  • I just came back after a 3 year break, and I'm happy to see they improved the game quite a bit. But there was this sim that I could not play like I wanted, so maybe they can work on that. My sim was living in the trailer park of Strangerville, and she wanted to have cats roaming around her house to make it look even more…
  • Then why sabotage my poll if you're not even included here?
  • More realism could mean less gameplay, more lag, more overheating, more expensive computers, less players. And I think there's a shortage of gpus at the moment.
  • I don't want to have to compete with other simmers. Having to prove my worth to people would defeat the whole purpose of the game, which should be about the boring day to day lives of almost ordinary people. I think the game won't change much in that perspective to be honest. Maybe they'll give us some scenarios to…
  • I might throw some money at it, but I'm not kidding myself. I know I'll play it for like a few days before never touching it again until they release yet another expansion. This game just doesn't hold my attention anymore.
  • There's also this one coming out soonish : The Real Life.
  • I can only focus on one sim at a time. Basically all my households are made up of single sims. And they're all females! Oh and I don't even come up with stories for them. I come up with different sim personalities instead. It's a boring everyday life simulator for me, but viewed from different perspectives depending on the…
  • Wow, not many people on this forum would like it. I guess it depends on how you play this game. I know it would probably be disastrous for builders, multi-generations players, modders, cc creators and some other types of players. But it would work for me, a single sim player who plays a bit vicariously. And just imagining…
  • Oh there a benefits. But there are also cons... Here's a short list to point out some of the most well know ones  Pros... - Guaranteed open world, with what would probably be the biggest worlds we've ever seen. - Interesting neighbors and roommates, no more need for AI. - The best story progression. - Play with…
  • Thank you for your answer! Sorry I couldn't find many reasons, we're kinda limited in terms of answers anyway. I just chose the most obvious ones. I highly doubt that EA would have private servers though. I don't think that's how game servers work. But what do I know lol.
  • The Sims 4 did not progress the series forward at all. It had a rocky development stage, and it is slow to come up with new content. And that content is almost always boring. The Sims 4's style and gameplay are boring. TS5 couldn't be any worst than TS4. I for one cannot wait for it to come out. But I think they'll need a…
  • I didn't know TS4 was that demanding. This makes me wonder if we could possibly see TS4 quality graphics mixed with an open world in TS5. Sounds to me like we would need machines that barely exist yet. Then again I look at games like World of Warcraft and it looks possible. But I don't know if WoW requires as much CPU…
