I am one of those that really actually likes 4, so that where I spend most of my game time. That being said, I still love playing 2, but I find 3 to be borderline unplayable now. I played it a ton when it was the current game, but I can't stand it now.
I'm glad I'm not alone, but it makes me sad. I wanted to do a crazy cat lady who breeds kittens, and now I have to wait for a stupid bug fix instead :(
It's definitely a bug. It's not even making me wait a day to see if it worked after they do the cute little hearts things most of the time. Maybe every tenth time it tells me to wait a day, and even then, the option comes back after a few hours, not a day. I've read some people are successful at getting their animals to…
I have the option to mate always, and every once in awhile it'll tell me to wait awhile to see if it worked, but I've tried it over 50 times now, with different families in different save files, to no avail.
I would LOVE to have the toddlers be able to sit in regular dining chairs. I seldom use the high chairs, as I like to have my tots be a little more independent, but I hate that they go to the couch to eat when the rest of the family is at the dining room table. My IRL toddler has never used a high chair, and has always…
I feel like in the TS2 days we got information so much sooner. I remember feeling like I was dying from PEPS, and now we get tiny little teasers, and then like two seconds before they actually release it they give us some information. I miss the days when you could actually know what was coming and look forward to it.
Personally, it's my favorite addition to the game. But I really enjoy running a restaurant. Do I think it could've been done better? Yes. Do I still play it more than most other things in the game? Also yes.
IRL I own a business making/selling candles. I love the ideas here of being able to make your own candles, and the etsy-ish idea. Kind of the the previous iterations consignment shop, but online. I'm also dying for laundry to make a come back. And I'd love to be able to vacuum etc. Awesome thread. I'd totally invest in…
I love some of the ideas here. I really wish I could run a daycare center, esp. now that we have toddlers. I'd love a grocery store/farmers market. A hotel/inn would be amazing... I honestly wish GTW was more like OFB.... Or, really, even just as good as Dine Out.... I was SOO excited for GTW, and now I hardly use it at…
The only reason breastfeeding comes to mind for me is because I nursed my daughter until she was two. It would just add another layer of realism in my self-sim family. It's definitely not crucial to my game play, and I won't be upset if it never happens, it was just something I'd be happy to see.
I absolutely agree with you. I think in TS3 I got like 2 or 3 sims through college, and never did anything with it again. In TS2 I made everyone go. It actually benefited them for the rest of their lives to go. I did enjoy that any of the older life stages could go in TS3, but you had to go back to actually finish, and the…
Sims 1 came out in 2000. Sims 2 came out in 2004. Sims 3 came out in 2009. Sims 4 came out in 2014. Even if you don't care for TS4, it would stand to reason that TS5 wouldn't come out until at least 2018 or 2019, given the trend of 4-5 years. Personally I enjoy TS4, and when I'm having days/weeks/months where I miss…
I really want to see pre-teens/tweens added to the game. I've wanted it since day one. A height slider would be super amazing too. I also really would love to have the option to homeschool the kids. I had a mod for it, but it was glitchy. I homeschool my kids, and know a lot of other people that do, so when I'm playing my…
I don't necessarily miss toddlers, per se. I do think the aging system in TS4 is a little lacking, as it appears to go from useless babies, to like eight year olds, to pretty much adults (let's face it, teens are adults that go to school.... they look exactly the same.) So, while I don't know that I want toddlers exactly,…
They should make toddlers that are more like real life. Screaming balls of poop. Lol. Terrible twos and threes. I initially was shocked/bothered by the lack of toddlers, and the minimal interactions available with infants, but I'm so used to it now that it doesn't phase me anymore. I do enjoy that infants can be breastfed…
I've been dying for a real farm experience in my Sims since TS2, so I'd really like to see them do something like that in TS4. I'd also love if they were to do a Uni thing as more of one of the Game Packs this time around, and have it be more online classes. I kinda dig them being able to go to a separate location for it…
Awe, it kinda stinks you can't sell craftables. Thank you so much for sharing the link! I didn't even realize until after I quit playing TS2 that OFB was by far my favorite EP.
