  • It can't be better than Stardew Valley but I'm starving for some new content, so I hope it'll have more to do than just growing plants and owning a farm.
  • Well, Parenthood gives you reward traits, so I don't really know what you mean... But I would love a legacy trait :)
  • It's arrogant to think that everything you can not understand is irrelevant and that is an attitude I often see with americans. I knew that Deligracy was australian but it has nothing to do with my point. The user could have asked if the YouTuber was a big one, but they automatically assumed that because he was speaking…
  • The toddlers are my favourite thing about 4 . I would have never thought that they would turn out so good. The toddler traits really do make them act differently, I barely notice the independent toddlers and have a hard time with those that like to throw tantrums. Some bugs are bound to happen as with every life stage but…
  • It's about the language. If it's not an English-speaking YouTuber, than it's an irrelevant one apparently. Even if he has more than four times of subs and gets to play games and show them months before they come out.
  • 4 million subscribers, biggest german youtuber when it comes to gaming but Deligracy is more relevant. You have to love american arrogance lol
  • I like the Ep so far, but it's a bit lackluster like all have been imo.Parenthood is still the best addition for me and it's a GP. Good to see you all keep this thread alive :)
  • I guess the problem is that they had two EP teams prior and now they only have one. Also, EA makes more money on SPs. Think about it, they cost a quarter of the price of an EP without having the quarter of content of an EP. Solution? Stop buying all those SPs. But I'm guilty myself, I've bought three of them on full…
  • Sims do not cancel out my actions for self-assigned tasks in my game and that's how it's intended to work, so this is a bug in your game. You are right about queuing up wishes that can be done while fulfilling my tasks (always starring at art while doing something, why?). An easy work-around is to queue another action up…
  • My twin toddler sisters (one is supposed to be bad-behaved and the other one is supposed to be everybody's darling and I hope they'll develop a sibling rivalry... yes, they are redheads...sims 2, anyone? ) and their baby brother are ready for my first parenthood play-session tomorrow
  • Did you see the new trailer? SIBLING RIVALRY?! I don't know what has happened with the development team and why they suddenly get family play so much, but I love it!
  • Hmmm, I've already played a vampire family with two toodlers and can't say I've run into problems (I own all EPs and GPs,), but I do remember getting lag in the City Living neighbourhood. I'm going to watch that closely, too.
  • I think, I'm going to create a family that I'll play in two separate saves to test out before- and after parenthood-release long-term family gameplay. I'll post my results here, so other family players can check if it adds enough complexity to the game for them :)
  • Yeah, acne should work like in TS 2. It would fit even better now that we have the embarrassed mood.
  • I'm not entering the contest, because I really want to give EA money for this (first time in a long time), but just wanted to point out how nice this is :)
  • Parenting that effects the children life-long? If that is really true, this doesn't add just gameplay, it adds something TS4 has been missing dearly: Complexity. Excited!
  • I'm excited for the family GP. So far, those packs have never dissapointed me and I love the theme (what a surprise)' Just wish, they would dash out more EPS that are better themed. We get them so rarely and their content just doesn't add enough substance.
  • I think the pricing structure is bananas, especially when you compare SPs to EPs. They don't have a fourth of the content of an EP, although the price suggests it and I'm always quite shocked at the end of a life cycle of a sims game, how much I've paid in total.
  • Thank you, @eleanorbreton (nice to see, you're having fun with the pack, too) and @king_of_simcity7 :)
  • Picture Spam Well, I tried to play a single vampire, who is an evil social media starlet living in the big city...but this is how it has turned out: After being absolutely snarky to everyone... ...fighting strangly clothed vampire townies... ...and turning all her annoying neighbors into newborns... ...,Caya caught the eye…
  • Yeah, another sale. I'll get City Living, so my broke pregnant soon-to-be vampire can raise her (hopefully) cute vampire toddler in a haunted apartment instead of an empty lot with just a bush to sleep on.
  • I'm very happy to hear about the toddlers just some days after I had decided to write in this thread again after months lol They look very cute and bring a suprising amount of stuff with them (I checked out thesimsupply's first look). I really like the concept of toddler personalities and skills and they move…
  • How did they ever manage to put a supernatural, a world and one of those concepts per EP into just one 40 dollar pack in the past, though. Because they did.
  • I stopped playing, because there is nothing in the game that I haven't done like a 100 times and every new piece of content is basically just adding old concepts in shiny, new attire or it is so limited that it is frustrating (apartments with loading screens, restaurants where you can't cook yourself...). And the saddest…
  • Thanks. I have nothing against vampires, actually, but dedicating a whole pack that takes six month to produce to only one supernatural, when TS4 is still lacking a lot of content, is crazy or lazy. There were two examples of EPs,where they would have fitted neatly. But no, every iteration before except the first did that,…
  • Hi guys, long time, no see. I just missed the sale for EP 3, although I knew about it... just haven't played until forever and I also got FF XV, so... Still, I regret it. 20 Euros is like nothing for an EP and maybe it would have made me play Sims again (haven't for months). On the other hand, hearing, they want to sell us…
  • Hey all, Just saw the community's reaction to City Living and I thought it would be good since it has more features as GT and people already accepted the world to be the biggest thing in the last EP (seriously, are EPs world packs now?!), but I guess they really ticked off the builders this time. I don't get why they have…
  • Hey guys, I know it has been a long time since I've chimed in and it is also the same amount of time I didn't spend playing or even thinking about TS4. Heart about the new rumours and thought I would catch up on what you guys are thinking about another not-family-play-related EP. I broke up with my boyfriend and got me my…
  • I hope the team and EA in general understand that EPs are what keeps a Sims game alive and the buyers willing to put up with the prices for little additions. I know they are more costly in production than SPs and GPS and therefore it might seem more attractive for EA to produce a lot of little content and direct less…
  • @elanorbreton Your pics have motivated me to play TS4 again and I hadn't since I started to work, so thanks :)
