I know of that one too, but it's not (just) that, @CAPTAIN_NXR7, even though these updates are in fact used for the events as well. You can do the group dances, show off dance moves and dance battle there, which is impossible without a dance floor. You cannot do that on the DJ booth alone, no matter how many times you…
https://youtu.be/BHTIhZXT5nA?si=5RsFG25K5Vmej7NL You can see it here starting at 1:20, fog included. The object is hidden though, it's not even available in debug - or at least I never found it there.
I don't know what to think about adding the invisible dance floor that was hidden in the Get Together Pack (for the events at the Ruins and Bluffs) as part of a kit now. The last few additions are giving major Pack Refresh vibes, If I dare say so.
I don't think they give much attention to this thread anymore. As soon as they realised that most people who post here now are people who already posted earlier on this thread, it's not an issue. There aren't enough of us to make them reverse their decision.
I'm glad to hear that. 5 mods only would be quite the challenge, though. Maybe a nice challenge for EA? They could try to make 5 mods obsolete every week. One can still dream... There are so many issues that would be an easy fix and spare players a lot of updating hassle. For some reason, EA don't seem to do collaborations…
The smoke machine is not technically new. The effect was already used in Get Together. A clear pass for me on both kits. They'd have me at basic, well done clothing/furniture. Classy, well fitted jeans and tops. High quality classic formal and casual shoes. A nicely done versatile pair of simple classy high heels. A nice…
The LE you mentioned points to an Eco Lifestyle whim. So you happen to have the one foe Outdoor Retreat as well. I Just need the Bit that resembles tuning.instances.waob839f. Thanks in advance, @PandoraTO.
Thank you! I don't need more info, what you posted is just fine. It's a common LE that shows when EA sadly gets rid of another bit of code of the former whim tuning. I'll need to wait for a bit of free time, though, because my husband had an accident and will need to be cared for until his full recovery after hopefully…
Crystal Creations is on the easier-to-ignore-end for me and my playstyle, so I still did not buy it even though I got an EA gift card for the exact purpose as a birthday present. I will wait until a pack that I can't ignore despite the shopping fart releases before I shower EA in more of my money.
Yeah, they could. But they won't. Kits are the only form of content they can continue adding on top of this fragile pile of packs without great risk of further breaking the game. We're not the target audience. The target audience is buying pack after pack for a few items they like, not complaining when they get bored, but…
I also think that the lack of a CAW tool is a big selling point. The Base Game hasn't been free for long, why should they add CAW when they won't even get rid of the shopping cart button?
@simmerann I got them mostly from.AnswersHQ and own testing. Save corruption cannot be undone. You have to get back to an older Version of your save. There are various reasons for save corruption. For instance it can be caused by downloading corrupted lots from the gallery (not just rental lots, btw).
Thank you all. There's a small mod update available since yesterday. I haven't posted much about my save file because of the limited Server space for Images, but If someonewants to have a sneak peak, I've got a thread with pictures here: It's very simple, focussed on players Like myself who just want to watch their Sims…
I always have an indoor playground, a church, a cemetery, a hair stylist (Get Famous), a washing saloon and a hall that can be rented out for partys/events.
I also hate the calendar and plopsy dot. It is so annoying. The shopping fart is worse, though. I got money to spend on the EA App for my birthday in February, yet I didn't touch it ue to the state of the Game and Lack of communication. My child and toddler Sims are still often times unable to eat anything. Reloading fixes…
There is stuff that I'd still like to see added but I'm afraid you are right. I'd rather have them stopp than leaving behind an unplayable mess of broken code after they are done with squeezing more money out of this game. And we're already almost there.
The ideal release shedule is releasing each and every Pack once it has sucessfully undergone QA. There are way too many packs in your ideal shedule to achieve that.
