    Lucky Palms Confirmed Release Date

    it has been confirmed by a guru that today is the release date for Lucky Palms. where is it? I'm sorry i don't have the confirmation in this post, i came across it last night and didn't bookmark it. for that i apologize. has anyone else come across EA saying the release date is today? maybe i saw wrong..

      They only said it would be announced today, not released.

      I usually don't comprehend things right when I read them and have to reread several times, but looking at the Facebook announcement, I got the feeling it would be released today too.

      That's exactly what I was going to say as well. For those who don't have facebook/can't see it, what the announcement said was this:


      "A few smart simmers noticed that our Lucky Simoleon screenshots were taken on a world that doesn’t look like any out right now. Hmm. Want to find out more? Make sure you check out The Sims 3 Store on Monday! http://Store.thesims3.com/"


      That, to me, sounds like it'd be released today. And I did see a post on a tumblr page (keep in mind, it's tumblr, how reliable that is I don't know) that said it will be released today as well, but their report has now been changed to "later this month".

      Good point! It says to check out the "store", not to keep an eye out for an anouncement! Strange though, have they ever released anything on a Monday?

      I agree the FB post indicates it would be in the store today.

      They said if you want to learn more. Today they released pictures. It doesn't mean release date for the world. They would have said something like get yours tomorrow.

      I thought the same thing Shannichol after I read the post at Face book yesterday so your not alone in thinking that it was being released today.

      This makes me wonder why the EFF EA even bothered making LL to begin with! :x I mean , it looked liked Cowboys & Aliens more than any 'moon' world, and all the canyons and stuff wit no moon craters ad me going Huh? the entire time.       As expensive as LL was, and how little was included with it and how very UN-space age it was, I'm offended. :evil: Thy should have released this Lucky world instead, and done a more traditional futuristic sci-fi world with more thought and effort later.

      I assumed it would be out on thursday, since generally they release things on thursdays. And generally they release things on the 1st and 3rd thursdays of the month. But I don't know for sure.

      Ok call me Dazy Duck but don't store releases new items the first Thursday and second or third Thursday of every month...??? I mean I would think for all rights it will be out Thursday since we haven't had anything in two weeks........ Patience is hard to come by but still. If I Have to wait for Supernatural we can wait for Lucky Palms. That sounds all wrong.. Ugh.. The name.. Yikes who writes the names...???

      Normally it's the first and third Thursday but sometimes it can come out on the 2nd or 4th Thursday.

      July 28th, two packages in store Golden means it comes with the casino. Normal means buy that one if you already purchased the casino...

      Actually I believe it's JUNE 28th. Next Thursday.

      Although many preview and review sites (e.g. SimsVIP) state that the launch date is June 28th, today is the 28th so unless it is posted and uploaded to the store later today, then there is no rumoured date for the Lucky Palms launch.

      Also, usually such a big new item is displayed on the big news picture screen on the home page of the Sims 3 site, and so far I've not seen any mention apart from in the side column (which talks about roommates, no mention of release date).

      Hmmmm... So i guess it's now a waiting game....
