How about wanting the SETS that are no longer for sell to be sold as set? Prety evil keeping them only for people that paid the rip off prices for them, and NEVER offer them again...
I agree with KayO199X, an ordinary vacation would be much nicer, where sims could actually swim in the ocean. WA was something different and I appreciate the makers of the sims 3 for thinking out of the box and trying something different. But I'd like my sim to buy a vacation home, without having the hassle of having to go through tombs and beyond.

In order of my personal preference
Seasons: I miss the changing of the seasons. I was just thinking the other day while my sims were sliding on the body slide that it was kinda annoying having a permanent summer. Especially since my favorite season is Autumn.
Open for Business: I had ALOT of fun with that expansion. The only downside was loading times if your store wasn't on your own personal lot. In the Sims 3 that barrier is removed. I REALLY want an Open for business for sims 3.
Finally. Superstar: I LOVED this expansion and it is one I didn't get to play with very much as my RL job required me to travel alot for several years. When I came back home I tried to reinstall The Sims and found Superstar wouldn't work anymore
I'm trying to think what other expansions they haven't done yet.
The magic ones never really wowed me. I never bothered with the first one. The Sims 2 had more than just magic in Aparment life. I got the expansion but I remember not likeing it much. but that was more due to apartment living than the magic.
Bon Voyage was a decent expansion. We have World adventures already but an expansion dealing with more traditional holidays, such as a camping trip, might be neat.
I guess University is the only other one we don't really have. I always had mixed feelings about University. I kinda liked the gameplay but eh I dunno. Something always felt off about it for me. I got sick of being in the university while halfway through the second year.
I would like to see my sims adult being able to lecture/teach with the podium from sims 2 with a class of sims, as a profession they would be able to assign homework and tutor if the have a level 3 in logic instead of five. Young Adults sims can join a secret society and/or a frat. But I think that once you get out of college the higher the GPA, the higher the position. 4.0 (A): 7 or higher in your field. 3.0 (B): 5 or 6 in your field. 2.0 (C): 3 or 4 in your job field. Lower than a 2.0 will have no career booast. Also picking a dorm mate would be fun
Also a remake of Makin' Magic for Sims 1 would be great (With daffodil eating dragons of course!) or maybe even a futuristic or ancient themed one? I dunno, it'd give the Time Machine more of a purpose!
1. Interactive beach and boats
2. Hotels and the ability to own several houses in one neighbourhood.
3. Amusement parks, carnivals, casinos, entertainment venue overload.
4. Wildlife; camping for example.
5. Wings/helicopters to fly around the neighbourhood in (it's an open neighbourhood. there's a reason to fly now!)
6.Zombies; time to make a horrific apocalypse EP for the sake of killing the SV greeneries. Doesn't seem to be liked by everyone but it's a change.
7. A cultural EP that introduces some sort of Around-The-World lifestyle (not only objects, interactions too and no WA is not cultural, it's exploration)
8. Scientific EP; scientist overload - be able to study various fields of science. Also, SPACE!
9. Seasons and holiday EP.
The possibilities are endless.
Well I like the direction the EP's are taking lately. I'm not especially fond of 'pets', but at least now the expansions are more open and sandbox style which they should be. Unlike world adventures and Ambitions.. This is sims, not a RPG. So hopefully they stick with the freestyle trend
:XD: I wouldn't mind having seasons make a comeback...(aside from being scared about what mayhem THAT update will bring..) but something totally new would be nice. I'd love to see swimming in the ocean back!
Personally, I'd love Seasons. Honestly, I miss having outerwear for my sims. Imagine the cute things CC creators could make! I also miss the snow, amongst other things...
I'd also like Vacations back. Not this BS world adventures expansion. I think WA is the worst expansion EA has made for the sims...it's so, boring. Not to mention the extraneous load times between your sims world, and the world they are traveling to. That alone makes WA unenjoyable..
As with writing on here, send letters! EA truly reads a lot of them. I know like whenever the Sims 3 came out, I wrote a letter to EA for a school project. I explained to them how much I'd love to have pets again, and now look
Something on the side: I think EA should also be mindful of the custom content creators for the game. I know they don't have to be, but to be honest, some mods and CC actually make the game better. EA should appreciate the people who pick up the slack the company left behind.
•well my personal favorite in sims 2 would HAVE to be Seasons! The rain, storm, and snow effect made everything so fun! I mean, this gets a little technical and you can just keep it simple with rain an snow and the different seasons, but having different types of storms would be so cool
•I know in Late Night you have high rises and etc. But it'd be cool to have more apartments! And a really great idea would be the ability to create an apartment yourself without using cheats (I attempted that before an the game got all weird!) that'd be a cool tool to have ^-^

•this would be a pretty cool idea! There could be a sports type expansion pack (like free time I guess) where your sims can play different sports on real teams (besides just the career) and school could have sports teams, different popularity levels, and suffer from sports (or accidental) related injuries! Like a broken arm or leg or concussion or whatever!
Anyways, those are just some of my ideas that would make sims more life-like!
I also liked, the Ikea expansion pack but, thought they could have done so much more with it. Lie having the Sims build the furniture instead of just purchasing it. If you Sim doesn't have handiness skills the shelves could collapse when they put something on them, or hit their thumbs while they are try to put things together. Could be very entertaining.
Londinium: to include The Tower of London, London Dungeon, Madam Tausauds, Buck Palace and other great landmarks.
New Zealandia: Volcanos, Hot springs, Thermal parks, exotic animals etc.
I won't go on, there are loads of interesting places in the world that could be used for wonderful sim holidays.
I would like to see weather return, I liked th e greenhouses, skating and especially the Wishing well, it was quite a challenge to get that little perk.
I loved In Buisiness, especially making my own relaxation venues then letting my sim family have a great time and socialise while the ticket machine clocked up the simoleons. But the manufacturing of goods for sale needs to be a little less tiring and less sweaty. I also found that runing the shops was very difficult as sims tired very quickly. Sims 3 sims seem to have a lot more staminer and spend less time in the bathroom so perhaps that problem woul be taken care of.
University ought to have been included with Generations as it is part of the natural aging progression. I won't be buying generations because the university feature was not included.
A stuff pack which includes some of the favourite items from previous versions. I want a piano, but don't want vampires.
I would love a proper utility robot circa sims 1 variety.
I want a chemistry set, but have no wish for any of the other features in generations.
A juice maker.
A diving board and waterslide.
Like a previous writer, I'll wait for the price to drop and the bugs to be ironed out then maybe buy some of the expansions wich contain the things I miss - but NOT the one with vampires!!!

I LOVE this guy's ideas, but i would put making magic before seasons. And, in seasons, don't forget plantsims!
