Awesome close-ups! It sure makes a difference.
Mine is nVidia GeForce 9600 GS.
Proverb87, what does overclocked mean?
My worry is just that I had so many problems in the beginning getting game to work right that I hate to take a chance on screwing it up again. I have a new card sitting in the box waiting to be installed, but think- OMG what if it doesn't work? What if it screws everything up again????
Hope this helps explain it:

I upgraded from the Nvidia 6150 to this card a couple of weeks ago and MAN am I glad I did! LOL Now I'm not ashamed to post pics from my game! LOL
I know EXACTLY how you feel Scarlett...the first time I played w/ my new card, I kept forgetting to actually play my sims because I was too busy gawking at the scenery! LOL
It's easy enough to install yourself, but I am glad I had Best Buy put mine in when I bought the machine. Since the card was overclocked by the manufacturer (nVidia), it has a built in fan right on the video card to keep it from overheating. My graphics died on the second day, so I took it back and they found that it was because the fan was tight against the TV/Tuner card that came with the machine. The fan couldn't turn, thus burning out the card. They replaced the card for free, and I had them remove the TV/Tuner card so it wouldn't happen again. They offered to replace it with a different model card, but this was the best card available at the time and was on sale - $100 cheaper than the next best. Sometimes the Geek Squad techs don't know what they are doing, but if they learn from it and it doesn't cost me anything extra, I'm happy.
I haven't had so much as a wheeze from my machine since then.
I have blue wire, they have a white plugin ;].
