The entries so far look great! To give a little more time to those of you who are trying to finish up, you will have till midnight Central Daylight Time in the US to submit your entry. (Actually, I won't be checking till 6 am tomorrow!)

The new challenge will be posted sometime this evening.

Keep those Generations entries coming! The new challenge will be posted bright and early tomorrow morning (CDT). Little hint - it's a community lot with a seasonal theme. Hope you'll be able to join in on this one :)

    *bangs head on desk*

Well, I finished my house, but I just saw that it needed 3.5 baths in the main house and I thought it meant total so I am a bathroom short. I won't submit my lot to be judged since I am missing that. Sad thing is I even printed out the requirements so I wouldn't forget.

I will post a link to my finished lot though, for maybe some friendly sympathy recs? lol. I even made the family.

    House: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=4245112
    Family: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=4245110

I'll be back in the morning to check out all the builds and leave them recs. Baby wants to go to bed.

I'm not American so I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but a diner is a kind of casual restaurant isn't it?

Yep! Smallish and casual. Many have a counter in addition to tables or booths. Check out this link for a little more info :)

Love the theme of this week's challenge. Ben Franklin as a Build-n-Share client? Nice. :-)

    Rec'd him, of course!

It's beautiful! I wouldn't start over. Ben did say he was open to a historical interpretation, and I think this qualifies :) Maybe work in a counter with seating, but otherwise don't change a thing.

It's a bit late to comment on the Generations contest, but since I can't put a comment on Dreamer90's page...

Dreamer90: Love your lighthouse!! Is there any way you could share the tutorial you used to put a foundation next to a ground level wall? I've been trying to make a trilevel home and getting very frustrated.

You have some great ideas in your build. Excellent!

Everyone else who participated in the Generations build... amazing work. I think my favorite part is seeing everyone else's work and ideas. Very inspiring. :D:D

First of all thank you very much, I'm glad you like it.
I can't give you a specific tutorial I used, 'cause it's pretty much basic CFE and I really can't remember where I first learned about it. But here is an extract from the List of tutorials or how do I do that?:
