Description
Your family seeks adventure. They want to do everything there ever was possible to do. It may take a while, but, with the help of your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and everyone else after them, you can get it done.
Rules--> To complete the challenge, you must complete everything on the checklist below.
--> The main objective is to get as many points as possible. (Points are rewarded as shown below.)
--> You may only use cheats to correct glitches. Be fair if it involves a loss of money! (Meaning don't give yourself an extra 5,000 simoleons.) If you must, use testingcheatsenabled->familyfunds.
--> You may not change active households.
--> Aging on, autonomy on whatever you feel comfortable with. Set your Sim life to whatever you want, but be aware that it affects points. You may not change their aging half-way through.
--> Even if you use the mod that allows you to buy anything from the grocery store, you may only buy what you're supposed to boy without the mod.
--> Please, no resetting to avoid some nasty consequence. Otherwise, I'll send Resetti after you. (If it's a complete accident, I understand it's unavoidable, though. No influencing an "accident", like telling your sister to press the power button. That's just stupid. :P)
Getting Started1) Create a family consisting of four Sims: father, mother, daughter, son. The father and mother may be either both young adults, both, adults, or one of each. One child must be a teenager, the other, child. Assign them any traits you wish, but
each member of the family you make now must have the Ambitious trait. It doesn't matter if the rest of your Sims that are born aren't Ambitious, only these Sims need to be.
2) Choose a house, or build a new one on an empty lot. It doesn't matter.
3) Keep track of your points and checklist. Have fun!
Points--> +50 pts when the checklist is completed.
--> +1 pt for each acquaintance each Sim makes. Multiples counts, such as the son and daughter knowing the same person as an acquaintance. So do family members, such as the father and son becoming best friends.
--> +2 pts for each friend. Once again, multiples and family count.
--> +3 pts for each good friend. Once again, multiples and family count.
--> +4 pts for each best friend. Multiples, family, blah blah blah.
--> +10 pts for
one romantic interest per Sim.
--> -5 pt for each extra romantic interest, unless their Lifetime Wish is Heartbreaker, in which case, it's +0 pts.
--> +1 pt for each perfect plant you grow.
--> +0 pts if you set your Sim's lifespan to Epic.
--> +1 pt if you set your Sim's lifespan to Long.
--> +2 pts if you set your Sim's lifespan to Normal.
--> +4 pts if you set your Sim's lifespan to Medium.
--> +8 pts if you set your Sim's lifespan to Short.
--> +10 points for each Lifetime Wish accomplished.
--> +3 pts for each extra generation. Your parent's children do not count. Your children's children do.
--> -3 pts for each unnatural death, such as a fire, electrocution, drowning, starvation, etc.
--> +5 pts for each ghost of a family member you see (meaning NPC ghosts of deceased family members haunting the graveyard or house).
--> +3 pts for each ghost you add to your family. This includes deceased family members and ghost babies.
--> +5 pts for each ghost brought back to life with an Ambrosia.
--> +10 pts for each child of the Grim Reaper. Seriously, they're cool.
--> When you complete the challenge, use this algorithm to add points.
((household money+house value)/10,000)x2
For example, if I had $12,345 in household funds and my house was worth $100,678 (furnished, use the furnished value), this would become ((12,345+100,678 )/10,000)x2. 12,345+100,678=113,023, simplifying it to (113,023/10,000)x2. 113,023/10,000=11.3023, simplifying it further to 11.3023x2, which is 22.6046, which rounds out to 23. You get 23 points.
(If this is too complicated, PM me your household funds and furnished house value. I'm a nerd, so this is easy for me.
Trait discovered: Genius)

I just browsed through it.
But its..great!
We need a Challenge board. A board where we post challenges and talk about challenges. Sticky the challenges.
*free bump*
Well thought out, Ill have to try it sometime!
@ thebriamon: Thanks! ^-^ My insanity didn't go unnoticed!
@ SimCrazy: Awesmoe. And you ninja'd me. That's a good sign, means this may get popular. =D
besides, wouldn't exactly be fair for Sunset Valley to have that sort of advantage over sims living in Riverview.
You looked like you might have an aneurysm.
yes really...it's hiding, but I do believe it's there. I have a green thumb farmer sim living in Riverview that can attest to that.
