I uninstalled sims 3, now the sims 2 is crashing. Do they share files?

Not sure where else to ask this but I uninstalled the sims 3 and I turned on sims 2 and it keeps crashing. Do the two games have files that are shared that could be damaged now?
Thanks!

No, they are two totally seperate games - but it is possible you deleted a common file. Did you get a pop up telling you a file that might be shared was about to be deleted, and it asked if you wanted to do this. Usually when you get one of those, never delete the file because even if it tells you nothing else is using it, most likely a half a dozen programs are. So always leave those. If you got that and said yes, then you probably will have to uninstall/reinstall your sims 2.
