I wish I could carve out some time for detailed Halloween simming. Didn't even carve a pumpkin this year, had intensive new job training and a lot of hurry-up-and-wait.
This thread gives me vicarious Halloween vibes, love it!
I’m trying to use packs I haven’t properly tried yet. For Halloween I was going to use Paranormal stuff but then I thought that’s a bit obvious so... let’s go with the scariest one of all Bowling Night Stuff 🎳 😁.
First I built a bowling alley, which is my first community lot I built - Newcrest Bowl. I based it on the ‘family fun’ ten pin bowling alleys we have in the U.K as much as I could. As I was making it I had my sims Autumn, Summer and Winter playtest it. It was really cool when other sims started to come in and use it too.
The bowling alley was fun and functional but not all that scary so it was time to add lots of Spooky Stuff 👻 and make Newcrest Halloween Bowl.
My sims got ready and we had a Halloween party at the bowling alley which they got a gold award for.
They stayed to do a little bit of bowling and had some fun. The night was a success. Summer got a strike and won the game! We had some well known sims there. Josie from the Bowling Night trailer came along as did some other familiar faces.
For a first lot like this it wasn’t too bad! I enjoyed bowling night and spooky stuff and they went well together. My sims had a lot of fun and as always they took some souvenirs for their little house in Glimmerbrook🏡.

With @mcrudd in this treath baby photos were guaranteed. And I'm happy that toddlers also joined this Parade thanks to @Lucy_Henley (so cute!) @Tammors (great haunting gargoyles!) and @Simmingal (cute "angelito"!).
Although I'm a supernatural simmer, I don't care that ghosts can't have children: somehow children or toddler ghosts make me feel sad. But I can't deny that they are an opportunity for a classic Ghost Story.
Tomorrow the Day of the Dead celebrations begin: November 1st is reserved for "Los angelitos (the little angels), those who died young.
I'm surprised there aren't more pictures of children I think I saw one, but i expected more kids this halloween

Ok @Daephene I do not have the Batuu pack, but that lightsaber battle picture is epic! I love your story! The pumpkin feature from the Spooky SP is awesome, actually is one of the few features exclusive for ghosts. I really like Don Lothario, but I have never played him as a ghost Thanks for sharing!
Awesome merman @WhatCobblers I love your 3rd picture! I like to travel with my occults to Sulani: the contrast between the vitality of the beach and the lack of vitality of the dead and the undead is beautiful.
One of my vampires lives at Sulani, but has integrated very well. Meanwhile others stand out in peculiar ways: I spotted Isidore, a master vampire who lives at Forgotten Hollow, at my Sulani Nightclub:
Poor Isidore, he really looks sad, I feel that he expected another type of drink. He needs to relax, maybe some flowery shorts would make a difference:D

I love your sims and how you dressed them up, keeping the clothes for bowling throwing parties on other lots is so much fun, especially if you prepare them for a certain event. Thanks for sharing... but now I have a question: you play Autumn, Summer and Winter...what happened to Spring?

Yay @Nate_Whiplash1 a witch! I hope she can freeze your sad clown, I remembered him from last year Parade when I saw the other photo. I love all things scary, but clowns ehhhh are not my friends
You know, sometimes my game likes to trick-or-treating me and I'm not talking about bugs or glitches.
It is time in my save to create a new generation. As I wanted a little werewolf in my save, I chose Rubí, a spellcaster and Selvadorada witch, to go for a baby with Greg:
Everything worked out wonderfully: she got pregnant and when it was time to give birth I sent her to the hospital alone. I was crossing my fingers for the baby to be a werewolf and not a spellcaster.
Rubí came back. The baby's avatar was in place, but I couldn't find the bassinet anywhere! I panicked thinking that a baby glitch had occurred for the first time in my game. Then I remembered that I only had to double click on the baby avatar to find him and... Nothing, zero, nada, my camera just send me to the garden
So I started checking frantically every floor from a bird's eye view... that's when i found the little one:
Really game??? You place him at the basement? at the only room that I do not use because there is no vampires in that household? Lol I did not remembered that room existed in that house. Finally I was able to celebrate that I got my first wolfie just looking at the bassinet type!
Fear not, the little one is now safe in his Home, Sweet Halloween, Home

or i guess they would love a vampire friend or beloved if their own being restricts their dreams of vampirism
@emere Thanks! I admit I haven't actually played much with the Batuu kit at all, but I do like the light saber battles (especially with pumpkins) and one of my sims married an alien from Batuu once and brought her back. They have three kids now.

Patchy is the best! @RySBI I haven't made him playable. I like that it appears suddenly, sometimes it is very helpful. In this house, in particular, he is very friendly with the dog (although the dog is not very sweet and is obsessed with the fireplace lol).
