    Can We Add Drinks to the Campus?

    in The Sims 4 General Discussion
    I find it odd that while our Sims can eat at school, either the highly limited and gross menu in the 'cafeteria', or the snack kiosks, there are no drinks! Yes, they can get water, but there should be drinks. Somewhere. I'm not talking about a bar, but a something where they can get orange juice or milk. Something. That's a long day without hydration. Just sayin'.

      Snowy escape has a couple of vending machines that sell some drinks, both hot and cold. And the fridge/vending machine that came with Get to Work, I think sells orange juice also not just sandwiches.

      You could try placing in beverage vendor kiosks, maybe?

      It would be awesome if they could make the bar drinks alcoholic too but instead of saying drunk, the sims get juiced? I read that somewhere and thought yeah! That’s a good way of adding that feature into the game

      @Admiral8Q yeah that’s true lol and @bshag4lv yeah, you’re right but I need some kind of realism in my game even though I don’t actually drink in real life due to religious reasons

      @GalacticGal University students can buy mini fridges at the kiosks where you can buy other necessary items for university students. The mini fridges then function like regular fridges when you place them in the dorm. You can't cook with them (unless you cheat to add a stove etc to the dorm) but you can get quick meals including drinks, and store the food that some roommates may like to bring in.

      Yes, I have outfitted my Uni Students well. I was speaking about the High School Students. I've used the building cheat to add stoves, however, they aren't allowed, even in the houses on the campus, sadly.

      Just where are they hiding? I know because I looked and couldn't find something for drinks. Do you by chance know the 'name' of the object? Please, and thank you, in advance.

      I was talking more of Soft beverages, not the Adult Beverages. ;)

      Lol, I understand.

      I tweaked my cafeteria with putting a counter, microwave on top of one of the university fridges. I have the island counters to sit in the same area. Sims can pull the regular drinks out of the fridge.

      I may do the same! What a great idea! I always put stuff in the Dorms for my Uni Students.

      @GalacticGal If you're still looking or interested the snowy escape vending machine is called Hot Eats and treats and is under appliances, misc. I use them a lot.

      Well... a clever way to put "Adult" stuff into a PG 13. Get 'juiced' then blow bubbles with the bubble machine. :D
