With the following expansion we finally receive a totally new feature in The Sims franchise which are curved walls. It was one of the most requested B/B update so I'm wondering what would you like to see next. On my wishlist are:

- diagonal/spiral stairs
- two slot stairs - Reference
- thicker and thinner walls - in 3 sizes
- half-grid walls
- separated swatches for counters and beds
- ceiling customisation
- free mirror placement
- object resize option by percent (especially for rugs)
- light colour changing in B/B
- possibility to make a custom folder with B/B items
- curved pools
- huge swatches update for existing objects (especially counters, beds, wallpapers and floors)

I would love spiral stairs that glide along the new curved walls. Also a slide instead of stairs. Separate swatches for counters, beds, chairs and sofas and for tables with short tablecloths. Real windows for the roof dormers. That old style radiator that came with Vampires to give off heat. Possibility to paint the foundations with the same swatch as the walls. Possibility to put roofs on half walls to create wendy houses for kids and pets.

I have wanted spiral stairs since the day TS4 released. I'd love for there to be a common palette of colors for things like walls and railings. I don't know how many times I've placed the perfect railing aesthetically speaking only to have it not match up to any wall color. Or the color of the railing on the stairs not matching up with the color of the railing around the stair well opening. They may be close but my eye still picks up the difference in shades and it drives my OCD nuts.

I'll second half grid walls and swatches for counters and beds. Counters and beds in general could be a lot better. Those are two items I often use cc for because the default Maxis stuff still lags behind. It's getting better but those items haven't improved as much as some other categories recently. The exception for counters are the ones that came with DHD. All I need is a few different designs with that level of quality and I'd be set. I find myself using those counters in every build which bothers me because I don't want to do the exact same thing over and over and over.

I'd like to be able to even out the space properly between the wall and ground when raising terrain. It looks horrible and i have to resort to using foundation do get the right result.

I'm not huge on this, but there are things I'd like that we had in the Sims3:
    elevators
    the huge staircases
    spiral stairs
able to add fish types we want to the ponds we make

some more goth furniture and castle furniture

    hotel, resort, casino stuff

pizza oven, deep fryer, toaster, wall phones, hammocks, pool net, pool bar, heart tub, heart bed, vibrating bed, animal rug woohoo for floor, sitting phones on tables, vehicles of all sorts, campers, boats/houseboats, motorized and peddle cars vehicles for toddlers, riders for toddlers, bikes for kids, strollers, carriers/slings for infants(freed), infant clothing, passies(round&square for toddlers/infants)hand toys for infants, playpens, baby beds, toddler swings, infant boat swing, infant mat, infant tub, car seats for toddlers/infants, walkers for toddlers, baby doll for girls, merry-go-round and other playground equipment, lots of arcade machines, sculptor machine, jungle like hot tub, rainfall hot tub, and...

gym equipment that we don't have not copies of what we have: chin up bar, large ball, hand weights, skiing machine, stationary bike, stationary mountain climber machine, scissor machine, and stair stepper. I have always wanted all this stuff because I had wanted to make a real gym that had so much equipment in it. Have been asking since early days of Sims 3.

I miss being able to fish anywhere. In Generations pack in 3, kids could even fish in the pool.

If you put a fishing sign on a pool, you could fish there too. I wouldn't eat the fish though.

I'm 100% down with ceiling customization!! White ceilings only work with modern/plain-contemporary builds. For older buildings or log cabins or fancier builds, flat white is not sufficient! And, yes, I'm the kind of player who plays with walls up for immersion. I only play with cut-away walls when necessary, and I don't play with completely invisible walls at all (I honestly don't know how anyone can stand that view, but to each their own). Heck, even stores/workplaces/public buildings don't look right with the flat white ceilings because most of those places (at least in the U.S.) have these modular grid paneled ceilings, like this:

We need ceiling customization so, so, so badly!!

My wishlist for more build mode options:

    - Multi-household lots (for building trailer parks, row houses, etc)
    - Combo business with residential lots (no more pretending our sims live upstairs)
    - Multi-business lots (ie: coffeeshop/bookstore combo)
    - Buildable apartments (with functional elevators too)
    - Half walls with no trim edge
    - The ability to delete one floor tile at a time
    - Diagonal stairs placement
    - Spiral stairs
    - Customizable ceilings

Your playstyle sounds exactly like mine! I too play with walls up 90% of the time and if I do have them cut away, it's not the version with the walls totally down. I can't stand to see all that wall clutter floating in the air or having my wall items disappear, cause you know why did I waste time decorating them if I'm just going to hide them with the walls down?. I also use the TS3 camera so I DO see the ceiling, all the time!

I agree 1000% on white ceilings totally ruining the look of certain builds, you know tiki/tropical houses? Show me one in RL that has white ceilings! How about industrial? Or Gothic homes? They give us all the items to create different style builds but can't let us change the ceiling?

I'm not sure what the issue is with TS4, in TS2 & TS3 it was essentially floor tiles only you placed them on the ceiling.

I have changed my ceiling before by making a CC ceiling texture replacement but the problem is, it changed EVERY CEILING in EVERY LOT/WORLD. Which doesn't help at all, unless I'm just wanting to take a screenshot of a particular house and need that ceiling to not be so jarringly white and immersion breaking.

I've read somewhere that technically ceilings in TS4 are not a texture but only a kind of placeholder. This is also why ceilings appear lower than it should be. To make them functional, EA should do the texture from scratch.
