I stopped using CC body hair just like I stopped using CC eye lashes. It looks borderline alpha. The creator castor on MTS made some hand drawn body hair that looks pretty close to maxis match. I'm curious what the Maxis team will come up with. Excited to have body hair in my game again nonetheless.
Shut the Front Door, it's about time. I thought it was an enormous step backward, since we had it in Sims3. My male Sims look a tad too girly for me without body hair. Yes, they have facial hair, but I like chest hair on a male. This news just made my day. So, thank you OP.
I'm so looking forward to body hair in Sims 4. I do so hope that it comes before June 16th.
Also, I hope there will be body hair on backs, hands, ankles, feet, neck, nose, forehead & upper cheeks. And finally, available for females as well as males.

Some of us gals are thankful we have very blonde body hair, especially on the face, but are also thankful for Flawless.
If it were up to me body hair would never be added. Can I get a toggle? Please remember to turn it OFF for townies. Give me a toggle to turn it off for townies. NO HAIRY TOWNIES. NO. Only body hair I want in my game is on my furries.
My question is WHAT does it look like?!! I've only seen alpha cc body hair. It's hard for me to picture maxis clay style hair on the body...
I think Luumia's body hair counts as Maxis match/clay style, right? If so, Id look up theirs. I've seen a few/handful of maxis-friendly body hair options and they looked fine.

Although Luumia's body hair is realistic looking, I'm exited to see how the base game version will look.

I think I would prefer the Maxis version, pure guess at this point. I love Luumia's skins but that hair is a bit too much for me. Irl I'm not a fan of hairy men, at least not overly so, and after seeing Lumia's body hair my real world tastes have followed me into the game.
This is the creator castorsims who made hand-painted body hair. It looks pretty close to MM (if not flat out MM )in my opinion and similar to how I imagine the maxis team would do it.

For those of you wanting it, good for you. Personally, much prefer them devoting time, effort, and resources to squishing bugs, especially the big ones that have been with us since sims earth cooled.
That's nice! I have some sims who'll use it. I hope it will look good. I don't like that much either of the cc body hairs, so I'm a bit nervous but also curious of how it will look.
Hopefully it's more like Luumia's if its low quality like the clay hair I'd hope for some fast Luumia overrides but at least the category would exist in CAS and possibly have mix and match options.

Like many, I use Luumia’ s V5 …(+)…*ahem*…and I’m now wondering are they collaborating with Luumia on this at all (dude works for Maxis, right?) or not?
Official sims 4 bodyhair has been on my wishlist since….the moment I was man enough to grow a beard, which is in fact longer than the entire existence of the sims 4 and possibly the entire sims franchise…or no…wait…🤔.Or…yes….no…wait….
…I do have bits of fur growing on me chin and cheeks and…below me sniffle is what I’m saying…
Anyways, if Maxis can somehow find a balance between Luumia Match and Maxis Match that’d be wondersome.
Even better would be if we can paint it on -as in -use textured brushes like we do with pets: Body -paint hair.
Go as wild and as hairy as ye want and create all kinds of shapes and doodles…in all the nooks and crannies…
I believe with werebeasts we’ll be getting an option to paint directly onto fur, so I can imagine a fairly beefy (beastie?) CAS update after this.
Or not.

For good body hair I forgive them all bugs since the year 2000.
Not when I have a TS 4 installation that swings between unpayable and too aggravating & frustrating to attempt to play more that 5-10 minutes. Time and past time for them to get serious and fix this bloody broken mess! Especially since I keep encountering guru postings saying the game is good for several more years of production. They need to fix what they broke before the whole thing falls apart.
