Ew, no. I don't know why... But the idea of it just seems so wrong. And people complain about pineapples on pizza. 🙄🙄 Tho, maybe me saying ew is a bit much. Haha. I'm already kinda weird and I can eat chicken with a fruit salad or scones that are sweet (or literally any other stuff I bake) so I guess chicken and waffles wouldn't taste too bad. But it's just a weird combo like the rest of my diet. Hahaa!
Never. But it's easy to fall asleep on a train or bus. For me, the sound and motion lulls me like a baby in a carseat or maybe being rocked in arms. And there's something meditative about the sameness of the route that can put me in a sort of mindless trance, then I start nodding off.
I have. Once in my late teens I was volunteering for a year and it was my first time away from home and I was very homesick and had only 72 hours to go back for Christmas. When I got to the airport they had some delayed flights from a storm and overbooked my flight and bumped me off the plane. All the other flights were booked all weekend, and so I just started crying lol. Then an extremely kind business man gave me his coffee he just bought and then gave me his first class seat. And then I guess he had some connections, because somehow got on another plane like 20 minutes later and we met at the luggage pickup again lol. One of my favorite memories of kindness from a stranger.
