Not like the serious kind. I did find out that it's easier going up, than getting down, on a casual hike/climb up a rocky outcropping. I had to half-slide, grabbing saplings I could reach, with sharp rocks giving way beneath me the whole way. Part of the time I had to roll onto my stomach and try to slide to avoid uncontrolled falling. Gashed myself on a particularly sharp boulder, learned my lesson. Getting down is 10X harder than going up, when you have no equipment and it's over loose rocky steep terrain.

I've swum in the ocean, both at a tropical island, and the cold North Atlantic, plus rivers and lakes, but NHIE swum in icy water (North Atlantic felt close enough for me!)
I can't imagine swimming in water colder than the water at water polo practice (I quit for that reason). It wasn't even close to icy, though.

Oh. Oddly enough, I have. Indirectly. When I was a teen, I was talking on the (landline) phone when it got hit by lightning. The electrical surge popped me hard in the right ear, and I’ve had a mild hearing loss in that ear ever since.
