I decided to remodel the interior of my spa--needed a bigger ladies restroom and I added a small eating area. I'm still playtesting it to see what works best.
That's a great little detail! Do you happen to know if that's only for Spa Day or for base game nail too?

I'm really loving this update! I hope that this gets done with most (if not all) GP's and EP's. If anything it will make me want to revisit old packs and play with features I haven't used in a long time.
So far I'm loving the Spa Day Refresh! I wanted to try out the Instructor/Teacher feature with my Rags to Riches Sim, Lee Lokela. He lives in Sulani, so I got him an instructor's mat. He took it to the public beach and gave a class at sunset.
Keep in mind he's only Level 2 himself. They all fell, including him and the game generated townie teen on the left thought it would be a good idea to put his mat down in the water. The black mat belongs to Makoa Kealoha's twin brother, Takoa. He got there too late for the class so just left without his mat. Lee returned it after class.
Such a beautiful spot for a yoga class though eh? I'm loving our Sims can do this now.
So relaxing...well, except for the teen laying in the water. Unless it's a really hot night, then it might be refreshing...maybe?
Cracked me up when this popped up after the class was over! He still paid the 110 simolean fee though!
I've only tried this and gave nails/polish to L. Faba so far. Looking forward to exploring it more.

I turned the pool in Windenburg into a Spa, and sent my Sim there to relax after tending her chickens. I really love this refresh so far!
Yesterday I downloaded a spa from the gallery (Chieftain's Villa Spa) and modified it for my game. I placed it on a beach lot, so had to change the foundation and terrain. Added another hut for dancing.
Great pics! I just returned from a 3 weeks out of town - when I left I don't event think I had heard about the Spa refresh - looking forward to exploring. I have several wellness sims I used to pretend made money from their services, but now I won't need to fake it. Also looking forward to more nail variety.
In CAS and in spa, will nails be set per outfit or will they be like skin details - for all outfits? I might like to give different nails to different party outfits, like I can set different makeup to match the clothing and hair. Will I need to do adjustments in CAS whenever my sim changes outfit option?

You can change them per outfit if you add them in CAS, but they stay the same if you have a manicure at the spa.
My sim Stephanie had a full spa day with the girls. It was relaxation to the max!

The next day she was in seek with this sim while fishing, they caught a fish at the same time. I wondered if he had been to the spa the day before and got a deep massage.
I'm more excited about this than I thought I would be I guess, I did finally have them wear off but I wish they lasted longer since we have the option to click on the sim and just take them off but I went in cas and gave them back what they lost. Cute though.

Do you mean the UI showing in your screenshots? You can change it in the game options menu I believe, there should be a check box for capturing the UI, you can just uncheck it.

Thanks! Reading the manicure lasts only so and so many hrs, I think i'll fix their nails in CAS, but assuming they can have their nails done at the Spa anyway for the experience/lifestyle/story aspects of it.

I'm hoping to make the next Matriarch a high-maintenance yoga-instructor so the gameplay can fit into my save.
