    Fox In Household?

    Are foxes supposed to be adoptable? I opened my game and found a fox named Lahdee Dah living in the house. I can click on him/her and see the needs. Everything else is greyed out/not available.

      I don't know about playing the foxes, but I've had foxes run inside my Sims' farmhouse before. Seems to happen whenever my Sim tries to befriend a fox. The notion being if he makes friends with said wild fox, then he can ask that fox to help keep the chickens from the other foxes. But, I have yet to find the foxes info on screen. Weirdness. I vote it's a glitch.

      Haven’t had this happening in my game, but All my foxes shows up I “other households” as separate families. the picture is very distorted and there is clearly not supposed to look like that. Must be a bug

      It's very weird how this glitch fell through the cracks when the fox was sitting in the family bin for the Game Changers aha.

      No, they are not supposed to be in your household and they are not supposed to be visible in available households. It's a bug.

      The random foxes in my main save have full sim names too and are in the manage household tab. I know it’s a glitch but as I’ve turned off the fox challenges in game I’m not really noticing it too much at the moment.

      No, they aren't supposed to be adoptable. But as much as the fox in my game hangs around, he may as well let me adopt him. He never seems to leave my house.

      Thanks, I'll hit the "me too" button. Hopefully the lizard foxes will be fixed.

      Yeah, they hang around very often in my game as well. They'll even sometimes come inside the house and dash around...

      Yes! I have 2 foxes that hang out IN my house all the time.

      If it wasn't so glitchy, it might be fun. The fox was cursed with a perpetually full bladder, one that could not be relieved. And it had a major case of the zoomies, which included stopping mid-run and staring at one house plant.

      If you have cats and dogs EP you can create one but I guess it wouldn't 'feel' the same

      Two of my households got foxes. A townie household and a formerly active household right after I set it to 'unplayed'.

      I had assumed it was an MCCC glitch or an intended feature of the expansion. Yesterday I finally went back to that 'formerly active' household and found that I could not get the fox to relieve itself. The poor creature just runs around while the bladder need goes into solid red. I can't tell it to go outside like a dog nor anything else. And I also couldn't figure out a way to feed it.

      So on googling I found this thread noting it's a known bug, and then went into both households and deleted the foxes.

      It'd be a fun bug to have if it didn't mean watching a fox die from an explosive bladder... If you could actually care for the fox, it'd be a feature.

      I don't use Discord because it doesn't support multiple accounts and I don't need folks at work wondering what I'm doing even on my own time. Until Discord catches up with every single other voice / video conferencing system, I limit where I use it:
