Make:
TS4: Art style, but with more detailed meshes and textures, TS4 build mode
TS3: Open World, Cars, CASt, traits matter
TS2: Wants, Fears, Interests, compatibility and attraction, personality matters,
Other: Weather/Season in base game, emergent game play
Break:
Online Social Multi-player
Emotions matter more than traits
Tiny closed worlds
Caveats:
Open world can be smaller worlds than TS3, structured like TS4, but with 10 to 20 lots per neighborhood and you don't need a loading screen within the neighborhood, but you will get one if you travel to another neighborhood.
Improved gameplay where the sim gurus acknowledge that we need to play the game how we want not how the guru's feel we should play
Not needing 5million mods to fix or make the game playable and enjoyable long term
Open worlds that feel like actual sims live there with actual story progression based on the traits, income, world factors etc. Essentially not too randomized.
Color wheel and customization that makes my sims very different from NPC.
Wants and Fears that last a life time. Sim experiencing the loss of a loved one might be afraid of another loved one dying.
Actual memory for meaningful actions. My sim moving to a new house needs to take priority over them seeing a horse galloping for the first time.
Ability to give sims long term and short term goals.
Unique actions and interactions for each life stage
Future proof and has QA testing.
Break (atleast 1)
No single player
Boring, flat cardboard sims where if you have interacted with one, you have interacted with all
Empty base game that makes you have to buy a lot of DLC to make it fill complete
More DLC packs released with names that makes it seem harmless lets say...called "marshmallow packs" that adds a single marshmallow interaction that creates 20 other bugs.
Releasing a game that has little to no innovation. Bring new ideas that helps the game grow without taking off ideas that work.
It defo needs cars in the game but also the new console will reduce loading times. Hopefully you can just pop into your neighbours house without being greeted with a loading screen 🤞🏻
