Mine says 794 as of right now on Origin. I've been playing since 2017 on this computer but stopped for about 6 months then another couple months here and there.

02-23-2017 created my Origin account when I started posting at the forum. +250 hrs starting from non-Origin disc. (Add the 250 onto the next total)

I have the physical disk version since the game released in June 2009 so I have no way of accurately knowing how many hours I've played. I did play most days out of the years, but also took breaks anywhere from a few days to a few months. How long I play varies, but usually I spend at least 4 hours or more in-game.
I am going to guess that I have played at least 16,000 hours and counting more or less since 2009.

The Origin says over 5000 hours (I play since 2016) but I think the count is not accurate, I think it counts when the game launcher is active but not the game itself. Sometimes I leave the launcher open, or I go over the launcher for hours to clean up CC, that doesn't count. Also i'm not sure what happens when re-installing Origin 'cause I did that at some point and i'm not sure what happened with the hours.
According to Origin, I have played the Sims 3 for 11,231 hours. That number doesn't account for the first 5 years I played unconnected to Origin or for my laptop that I have never connected to Origin and still play. I am well over 20,000 hours. Think how spotless my house would be if I hadn't picked up that first Sims game in 2000!
