Starting Sims: Create 2 families, they need to be different from one another. I chose human and alien.
Starting families:
Start of with the normal $20 000 but cannot get a job, they need to try and sell odd things till the child is ready to take over.
Child of each family: baby may be aged up, toddler needs to reach 3 or more maxed out skills before you can age them up.
kids needs to reach A report card, and max out at least 1 skill before they can blow out some candles.
Teens need to have an A report card, max out 1 skill and get 3 more skills to level 5, next generation will sell paintings and odd
things to try to stay above the water. They will be more skill focused.

these 2 families were new in town, bought a cheap house and tried to survive, but struggled as they could not get a job and did not really know how to build skills to get money. They are more focused on helping their kids to succeed.

In order to move out and start their life:
toddlers reach the max of all skills
kids: reach 2 skills to the max as well as A report card and join the Scouts.
Teens: Reach 1 skill to the max, reach cooking, gardening to level 6 and try to go as far as possible as a scout. Learn surviving skills and learn to provide for their own families.
When they move out they will only have $20 000 and need to move to an empty lot. Buy a tent and just the most basic needs and have a big garden.
