Hello!
I'm currently building a run-down diner. I really wanted to use the "Needs TLC" lot trait so it would spawn mice and roaches on the lot, but I couldn't find it. I read that it was locked to certain lots. Do any of you awesome builders know how to unlock it? Or perhaps how to emulate a similar effect with other traits or cheats?
I'm not looking to mod my game in anyway, since that usually leads to my computer crashing horribly, but if there's a work around in-game I'm all ears!

You are unable to use that lot trait on any other lot, except for the ones that Maxis have placed it on. It can't be removed from those lots or added to others.
There is an unlocked lot traits mod though.

EDIT: I did a quick test in a new folder of the TLC mod (mentioned first). Made a room on Potters Splay, Willow Creek, placed down all the objects from debug and waited. After a couple of sim days I saw a mouse, that gave the sim the corresponding moodlet. Did not wait for all the other objects to give effect.
Saved the room to library and placed it on Bargain Bend - all the debug objects were gone.
Copied the tray files into yet another new folder, the debug objects were gone.
