i miss the active career lots like salons. I'd also love everything on this list, i'd looove a daycare center and a grocery store and a hotel. The last two are *technically* available, like GTW selling produce, or a public lot that you 'live' on trapping sims every now and then, haha xD
With explorable catacombs, bonehilda and chums all kicking back enjoying the afterlife, ghosts with stories you can interact with. Sims you can literally dig up and restore with ambroisia and a hand of glory for witches that can be retrieved from there...hopefully to grant them immortality or with a whole heap of curses included with it to add more depth to the negative aspects of gameplay. Ideally there would be a Pratchett-esque house of death in one of the mausoleums and you could go and have tea with Grim. See cemetery/teahouse, what more could anyone want?

I loved them in TS2 and this pandemic has shown how essential they’re. Let’s give grocery stores some love, ok?
2. Hotels
In order to make my gameplay more realistic I have the rule that worlds that I deem to be far away (e.g. Windenburg <—> Sulani) can not be visited casually. My sims have to stay there at least overnight and 24h. They stay in tents now but this isn‘t ideal.
3. Cemeteries
It‘s kinda disrespectful how this game treats dead sims. I want cemeteries, funeral services, eulogies, etc.
4. Malls
- No loading screens between each venue in a mall.
- No stupid restrictions. Let us place anything in there: shops, cafés, gyms, pools, bars, penthouse
5. Casinos
I generally want more ways to lose money.
Id like a move theater. I know we have movie hang out but I wish some movies would have to be unlocked or something at a movie theater venue
I think a movie theater would be great I think a way they can do it is adding drive in movie theaters once they had cars that is and it could be different movies than the ones from movie Hangout and it could be a lot so it wouldn't be the same as the stuff we had in movie Hangout but if you have movie hangout I think the movie is from it should play in the drive-in movie theater as well

I missed the salon 2 and I'd also like a place further seems to get tattoos like they were able to in The Sims 3 as well and piercings and I mean they already have all they need to make a salon to pretty much with the get famous salon chair that we just need to add more to it and make it a career or something that are sims can get into a ton of mously and have their hair done
Not actually a specific venue, but a multipurpose lot type! If you fit all the requirements for each venue type, you can have multiple types per lot - say, a retail, restaurant, cafe, and library (which could work well for making malls!), or a nightlife precinct that has bar, nightclub, lounge, and karaoke bar functions (karaoke competitions, mixologists, DJs, able to do lounge functions like talent showcases). Combinations of swimming pools, spas, and gyms, et cetera.
I have a lot of lots that could fulfill multiple functions, but I have to choose one, and am limited to interactions that fit that one lot type (say, if I have a restaurant, then I won't have functioning retail). It'd be great if we could choose multiple types!

I can think of stories I could use/need everything on that list. I picked grocery only hoping that maybe we could just buy fish and veg instead of having to farm it ourselves to get it fresh.

Without seeing this post I had the desire for hotels the other day. *NPC lot hotels for your Sim to visit and enter *Hotels that can act as a need fulfillment for bladder, hygiene, sleep, and food which is a 'rabbit hole' that you don't need to physically enter just pay for.
*Run your own hotel where guests check in attracted by features of the hotel, mess up your hotel room, and you hire staff to service. **If you have Dine Out pack you can also run a restraunt in the hotel. **If you have Get to Work you can also have a gift shop. **Run a cheap motel Sims are attracted to for cheap prices but if the hotel is run down it won't attract guests. **Run a 5-star rich & famous Sims are attracted to but if the prices are too high they won't come. **Cheat the online ratings with "Programming" at the computer for ratings your hotel doesn't deserve. **Hire advertising **Manage staff like Get to Work and hire entertainers **Add features like a gallery, arcade, pool, bar, and garden but manage them efficiently or they will cost more to run than the visitors they attract. **Ban problem guests and visitors from the property! **Add Sim-memory for places they visited that gave them the most positive emotion buffs, need fulfillment for sleep and fun, and the like that will make them visit those places again.

A casino - I’d love gambling because it could add more storylines of teens underaged gambling or addicts. I don’t think they will though because I think they’d have to up the age rating
A cementery - I’d love one because I think it’d be cute to have the option to buy a nice plot. I’d love it to be like an open world kind of thing like the little kids parks with no loading screen. I actually built one the other day😂
A skatepark - would be cool, again an open world kind of little park behind lots would be cute (if you can’t tell I think we need more little parks like that. I don’t want the whole world to be like that though, just small parks)
A Daycare Centre - Please. Please Please. Toddlers go when your sims go to work. You can go with them or stay at the lot. You can work there (like go to work with the sim like in GTW). Your sim can take their toddler to go meet and play with other toddlers for the day.

I chose a skate park because I'd love a place for my teens to hang out. I'd also be content if they just add skate park equipment which we could add to parks.
Hotels, malls, cemeteries, grocery stores, and day cares would also be nice to have in game.
Tea Salons, ballrooms, and casinos I'd have less use for.
I chose other cause i can't decide what i prefer, hotels or cemetery. I'ld love to have both.
But i think we'll get cemeteries sooner than hotels, if we're getting hotels at all. They have made vacation worlds separate from residential worlds and i wonder if they think hotels will defy the vacation world's concept. But if they add them I hope that hotels come with the ability to run them besides of visiting.
The ones i don't care at all are grocery stores or malls as i don't go shopping with my sims. It takes too much time of their small days.
