3 Recipes you’d like?

«1
AlpineCuriosityAlpineCuriosity Posts: 2,521 Member

Name 3 recipes you’d like to see in TS4. I’ll go first:

- Milkshakes^^ In a lot of different flavours (pumpkin spiced, salted caramel, bubble gum etc - not just strawberry, chocolate and vanilla...)

- Pumpkin Spice ...everything basically - pie, ice cream, coffee, cupcake, cookie, porridge... Did I forget something? ^^’

- Cotton Candy ... preferably with an amusement park!

Your turn ^^

I like your ideas, especially pumpkin spice! I’d personally would love to see some traditional Puerto Rican/Hispanic foods. Such as rice and beans, pernil (roasted pork shoulder), fried plantains etc. I’d also love to see some southern recipes like corn bread, jambalaya, grits, grawdads.

I love cooking in this game so the more recipes they add the better 😊

Pumpkin Bread (because I LOVE Pumpkin Bread)
BBQ Ribs (we just need some BBQ representation for those of us in BBQ lovin' states)
    Jamaican Patties

There are a lot of foods that are already in the game that I love!

    Good old English trifle. Yum.
Cheesecakes, unless we can already make them? They used to look so delicious in previous version.
Lasagna. Preferably with chips and salad :)

I wish we can make pies specific to the fruits we can grow. A sim can make a "fruit pie" and use any fruit in their inventory. I would like to have specifically a cherry pie or apple pie, for example.

I definitely want Pumpkin Pie, hoping they are saving it for a farming pack because I'm surprised it's not in game yet. Otherwise I want all the other ideas in this thread too!
I hope they keep adding to the menu.

    • Gingerbread baking (gingerbread house?)
    • Rice porridge
    • Summer minestrone soup

So yeah I'd like seasonal food.

Chocolate pudding, chicken noodle or vegetables soup (especially when the sims have a cold) and pizza.

I’d like them to add the pizza oven back and new pizza recipes.

Whatever next recipes they add, I want it to require use of a new kitchen appliance. Kitchen appliances in my opinion are lacking.

I think this confused many, including me, but it’s just that mermaids are often given the Child of the Ocean trait, which is what causes the bad moodlet from eating fish.

I would like Pumpkin pie, Enchiladas and Chicken and Dumplings. I would like a deep fryer, a pizza oven and a hot chocolate maker like we had in sims 2. There are so many things I would like, but these are among the top ones.

I'm loving all this talk about a farming pack... Really!

    Anyhoo...

What about a "Make your own recipe"? Like, you choose the type of food (soup/stew, salad, cake, pie, etc.), the ingredients and the name (and it would default to "[Your Sim Name]'s Special," e.g. "Sketches's Special"). It's a lofty idea, but I could see this type of feature being in The Sims 4. Let's say it would provide you an interface to "write the recipe," where you just pick the type of food (for the game to know the template for the final presentation), the ingredients, and write the name/description. I'm sure it could be programmed. You essentially already "make your own recipe" with the garnish/topping options on ice cream from the Cool Kitchen Stuff Pack. This feature would just give hundreds more combinations...

Malasadas - A Portuguese sugar donut thing. Really tasty, but the best ones rot your teeth almost instantly.

Yeti meat - food made from yetis. Not real, but it'd be a nice food for occult families.

Nectar - Complete with nectar-making. It'd add so much sophistication and class to your home.

Hmm, maybe a five tier (or more) cake, mostly for weddings. Or a cake with rainbow tiers.
Anything on a stick, corndogs, rock candy, etc.
    Pie-irons for camping.

These are just the first things I thought of. I like the idea of the waffles and the waffle maker.
