@Xantheanmar I guess I had a mini story in my head as I made them, which was that the mom loves cooking and wanted to become a chef and eventually run her own restaurant. While the father was a stay at home dad, focusing on his many interests, such as sports and working out. I imagined the toddlers as the stereotypical mischievous, but well meaning twins. I imagine they'd be really close as they grew up. That's pretty much it.

When Adam Appleton, a young widower, and his daughter Annie lost their house to a fire recently, his cousin Dave and his family welcomed them into their home with open arms. Adam appreciates the Love-Wonders' generosity, but with three toddlers in the house, things can get a little crazy and he misses having a house of his own. Will he find love and a new home again? Will Annie be a successful apple farmer one day? Will all the kids get along as they grow up?
I'd also like someone to build a house for them as I don't know if I'll have the time. It'll have to at least have three bedrooms (one room for a couple, one room for a single father and one for three toddlers). An apple garden would be great as well!
My family is the Gates family. Grandpa and twin grandchildren. one male and one female toddler. They were meant for an alien adoption story but that idea is no more. I did get a bit of their story written that i will post below in the spoiler tags as it is quite a lot to read.

Elijah closed his eyes and started to drift off. 9AM was an unusual time to go to bed but he'd been up all night and it was finally quiet enough for quick nap before the work began again.
He was startled awake by a heavy pounding on the door followed by high pitched cries. As he dragged himself from his warm cocoon he mentally cursed at the visitor that had interrupted his much needed slumber and shushed the twins as he passed to answer the door. "Sir it is vital I speak with you . May I come in" It was more a demand than a question as the man had already pushed his way inside Elijah's humble abode.
" I have come for the children, They belong to us.." He spoke fast while waving a bunch of papers in Elijah's face. "See .. I'm sorry sir but I must take them with me now"
Elijah was in a state of shock it took him a minute to register the words he was hearing. " Who the hell are you! And what do you want with my children.. coming in here so bold and demanding I give you my little ones... Not today Mr... Get the hell Outta here! "
The stranger pushed against Elijah's surprisingly strong arms which were shoving him towards the exit and placed himself precariously on the nearest seat. "Sorry I'm not being very professional but I'm already in a lot of trouble. My name is Allocation Inspector Bins, I work for the government's H9110 program. These children had been Placed with your daughter 6 Months ago but on her way to the assigned housing complex she dropped of our radar. We have been searching ever since. Sir you know these children are special and as such will require specialist care and an undisclosed secure environment."
" Secure environment oh it's starting to make sense now! Is It's you fools I have to thank for my little girl disappearing without a so much as a goodbye all those months ago. well you can thank me for not kicking your butt out into the sea. There is the door see yourself out "
Elijah felt empty dejected as he recalled the last time he saw his daughter. He collapsed in a heap on the wicker chair next to inspector Bins. "Look Inspector, I can't do this, I just won't. Please just leave us alone"
Inspector Bins is empathetic to the old mans suffering and tries to comfort him. " Sir it is against procedure but I can ensure you get visitation privileges once the children are settled in a new home"
Elijah is oblivious to the young man's mutterings and delves deeper into his story of loss. " We were happy Heavenli and I. It had taken us a while to get there. We had just finished planning our move here. The house was already under construction. The E-tickets were sitting amongst my emails dated Feb 19th. She started acting strangely, Secretive. My baby had never kept things from me before she was receiving all this post. Disappearing to meetings out of town. She wouldn't tell me anything just promised everything was fine , and that she would tell me about it when she could. I was worried but felt sure that once we hit the shores of Sulani everything would be back to normal.
However the day before we were due to leave she left and never returned.
I couldn't leave without my little girl so I searched for her. I called the local police but she was an adult she had left of her own free will and taken all her clothes.. but I knew!.. She would never leave without saying goodbye.
Something was wrong!
I was right.. I received a call from a hospital way up near Newcrest" Elijah choked back tears as he continued "It was an accident..... But the babies were ok...They were Ok...."
"Oh Mr Gates I'm so sorry. I had no idea. We didn't know what happened only that they had gone missing and the twins were seen on a plane headed for this island." Inspector Bins put an arm around the old man's shoulders and held him as he shook with grief until his tears waned.
Elijah continued as the twins entered and plopped themselves on the seat next to him he smiled as he watched them. "They were ok, They looked just like her but as I held them they started to change their beautiful brown skin turned an bright ethereal blue. No-one else seemed to notice. But I knew Heavenli left these two angels for me and I was going to love and protect them. I wouldn't fail them or her. So, No Sir, You will not be taking my grandbabies anywhere."
Allocation officer Bins rose to his feet. "I understand sir and I see I couldn't place them in a more loving secure home. You have built a strong bond and I believe it would be detrimental to their health if I removed them.
I would however like to offer some assistance. This place is clearly too small and there are some items and funding I can provide that will help with a few health issues we are aware that their kind sometimes struggle with. I only ask that you keep me informed of their progress."
Inspector Bins extended his hand for a gentlemanly shake but instead was pulled into an embrace. "Thank you" Elijah Whispered.

@Charliimai The Gates family will be in the save, as will their house! Quick note – the main setting for the story is Willow Creek. Since I'm invoking a touch of realism, my main family won't be able to travel to Sulani without "plane ticket funds" (i.e. they can't go whenever they feel like it). This means that your Sulani family also can't travel to Willow Creek on a whim – but I will have enough Sulani time in the story that your sims will be well-included, and I will develop a "pen pal" storyline to give them extra time once they age up into children.
I want to make sure that this is okay with you – if not, we can work something else out. I don't want to disappoint anyone.

Oh dear! I seem to have 8 families! No worries; your family will make it in. At this point I'm going to close the casting call – the building call will remain open.

It depends on where you would like them to live! I was originally going to concentrate the families in Willow Creek, but one family is already in Sulani and with seven others I think it would be best to spread some of them out. So – you may choose where your family will live! A more vampiric house would be appropriate for Forgotten Hollow, but if they live in Oasis Springs that might not work as well.
I will open this up to everyone: You may choose where your sims live! I'd like to have at least two (possibly three) families in Willow Creek and no further families in Sulani, but apart from that you may choose any residential World for your sims!
@Xantheanmar what you do with them is entirely up to you. You have complete creative control over them. I'm just happy they get to live out their story rather than being in stasis forever in the depths of my library. . I look forward to reading your story.

In the living room, the walls are different colors, so go with a shade right next to the missing wall, don't just shift over the whole room.

My family already has a house so I’m going to upload it once I’ve renovated it (it’s not fully done yet but now I have an excuse to complete it, hahaha). I’ll post it here with some photo’s when I’m done.
Sidenote: I’m not really the best houdemaker but yeah 😂 at least I tried.
Do you still need any houses built? And for which family, I'd be happy to put one together for you from my multitude of shells I have built. Just need to decorate one appropriately, skipping the packs you don't have. Let me know!
