Very raw. Can see why you like it. A tad pitchy in places but at least he's not autotuned to death.
Yeah, he was kinda flat during the low parts in the bridge but sometimes that happens to me too. A bit hard to sing low notes after singing so many high notes. XD
He did better here at 20:00 https://youtu.be/y2ArsPqNoJs?t=1201
Disconnected (Acoustic) by Imminence. Another beautiful band with a singer with a beautiful voice.

@DeKay I just found a new favorite that also had me wondering if you'd like it. To me, a nearly perfect blend of my favorite instrumental sound plus very satisfying scream sound. What do you think? This is what I like!

That's pretty dope. I wish there were more of the lyrics tho and not just the same 5 lines repeating.
Sometimes I wonder if you would like I See Stars. I think you might not like the high pitch vocals tho. But you can give it a try. They're a very popular post hardcore band who mixes electronic music to their songs.

That is pretty good, musically! And you're right..I'm not crazy about high-pitched vocals, with very few exceptions. RUSH is one, because even though Geddy Lee sometimes sounded like a darned Chipmunk, he could WAIL with a quicksilver intensity and spot-on pitch and timbre that just sets my hair on end, and he never needed any autotune to do it, either... RIP drummer Neil Peart.
And you're right about the repetitive, meaningless nature of the lyrics in that song I liked... I liked it not for the lyrics but the music. Ed Sheeran is the one to go to for lyrics. Most of the music I like, is for the musical quality and not the story or writing in it, which is good because good lyrics are hard to find.
Anyway thanks as always for sharing your thoughts and tastes, and offering suggestions. I love discovering new things and your suggestions are most welcome.

Let's make Liberty and Justice For All a reality.
Gotta pay homage to the late great Neil Peart and the high-pitched awesome wailing of Geddy Lee. One of my favorite bands that never got the respect it deserved: RUSH
I'm actually listening to Deezer's daily mix for me right now - which I always tend to listen to at work. It always recommends me this song like every day in the daily mix... and I remember it took me like 3 months to finally find out that this is by Wildways.
