Just started a legacy file in sims 3, and when I went to place the tombstone of my second generation sim who died, it just disappeared on me. It's not in the family inventory, it's not in the personal inventories of any family members,
and it's definitely not on the lot - (JK it is!). I mean it's not a massive deal, since I have a save from the day before, but I would really like to not have to roll back just to have a tombstone.
Is there any way to replace/locate missing tombstones?
SOLUTION:
Requires Nraas mastercontroller.
So what I did was I noticed that the object was still "there" but just invisible, because while in live mode, when I would move my mouse over where I thought I had placed the object, the cursor turned to a red circle with a line, indicating I couldn't click there as a spot to go, as there was something there.
Click on that spot
Nraas - Mastercontroller (swirl - not ":")
Add object to inventory
Not inventory
Objects.urnstoneHuman
Select the name of the sim who's urn you're attempting to reset
and click to add the urn to the family inventory
the urn should then appear in your family's inventory, and you should have no problem placing it.
Hope this helps

While there, you will also see a module called MC Progression. You do NOT want this one unless you also have the StoryProgression mod installed because without that, the game will crash on startup every time. We have warnings up about that, but not every player sees them before they see the download buttons.

I have the story progression mod as well so do I need to install the MC progression to get the gravestone back?
