Maxis Created Sims

Can anyone tell me how to find the original maxis created sims in the gallery? One of the sims they created for get together died all of a sudden & I want him back but I'm having trouble finding any of those sims on the gallery.

When in the Gallery at the search bar click the drop down menu to EA Account ID then type Maxis.

Are you looking for a premade sim or a sim that was created for promo material? Premades usually aren't on the Maxis gallery accounts, but some community members upload them.

I was looking for one of the sims from the household "Roomies" I think it was called. I didn't really want an uploaded version from another simmer, I was hoping for the original from maxis. So I guess it would be a premade sim.

They used to be on the origin account MaxisCreator_01 but if you click on that account you will get to the maxis account where those sims seem to be no longer be there.

I still have most sims from that account in my gallery.

Some of the really older ones, like Holly Vinedal, or Bella Goth used to be on SimGuruJill and SimGuruZephyr's accounts, but they no longer seem to be there either.

You can create a brand new save, then go to CAS with the Roomies household members and then upload the household to My Library. After that you can leave the new save, delete it if you want, and then in your main save (or whatever save you want to have them in) place them down from My Library and there you go. And since they are from your new save, they are 100% Maxis created.

You won't lose your current game unless you save over it. A new save will always make a new file.

There's two ways to save a household.
The easiest is through household view, where you can locate the household and save from there.
There's also the manage worlds option, where you go to the world they're in. Click on the lot in map view/manage worlds then click on the "..."/More button, then "Manage household" button. There it will give you the window to bring the household in CAS so you can save them.

I don't know if your interested or not but I just finished loading up the CAS premade sims that the December 2018 patch added. I gave them the names that Sim Guru named, and I picked traits for them that fit their back story. I went ahead and fixed their other outfits, and no CC was used. I'll put a link to them in the spoiler so as not to take up too much space.

If anyone wants to find some of the Sims that were featured earlier in the game history. Aside from searching the gallery under User ID: Maxis, you can search: simguruzephyr, SimGurujill, and Luchador is under simgurulyndsay. Someone mentioned earlier that they were not able to find these but an ID search on the gallery did pull them up just now.

I have had the sims 4 since launch and collected all the maxis creator sims, and i lost all my content when my hard drive was lost. If anyone has these builds again to share I would be so greatful, I'm in tears unable to find them and I KNEW maxiscreator_01 used to have them but they are GONE. Please?!
