      Got fed up with GIMP, tried to use Pixlr. Pixlr didn't work so i used Medibang.
      Does this look good?

      It looks good but if you want it to look like proper lighting

      Have you tried in GIMP:

      Adding the light
      Adding the Softglow effect
      Lowering the opacity of the layer
      Maybe adding... I use SAI for most effects but if it has something like a Luminosity layer option, adding that on top and airbrushing in extra glow?

      OH! And other things should be illuminated by the light. Namely the person laying there.

      I never really thought of other things being lit up. I'm currently trying to do that (still in Medibang because GIMP won't cooperate)

      Why would you use drop shadow on a light source? Maybe use a soft round erase, make it really big like 500px and just erase the light edges.

      What border?

      You can change the color of drop shadow so i was seeing how it looked

      Around the blur, there's this non-blurred weird border thing and it's making the blur look unnatural.

      Make sure you are not selecting the alpha of the light, ie, there is no 'running ants' highlighting the light glow thing.

      It does it whether or not I have it selected

      Can you use gaussian blur instead?

      I was using gaussian blur. The actual blur brush tool doesn't really work.

      I was using gaussian blur. The actual blur brush tool doesn't really work.

      Then I don't know what's wrong with your blur tool cuz mine is fine. 😂

      Can somebody give a reasonable explanation why my dad sets up his alarm clock to ring at 4.30 am every day but he just let's it ring for like 30 mins and not wake up until 6.00am? And also recently, my mom set it to ring at 5.30 but it seems like he put it back to 4.30?

      😬 Cuz my mom and I are like so done.

      I'll take any suggestions to get back at him too, ie, smashing the clock, not let my mom cook for him, etc etc. 😂😂😂
