I have created a Young Adult Sim. If I turn her into a child in CAS and choose to have her grow in the world, will she grow up to look the same way I made her or will her look be altered? Weird question, I know.
Protip: if you have a child sim and peek to see what they'll look like grown up and you don't like it, you can alter their adult face to your liking and then reverse them back to child and let them grow, and they will grow up to the desired look you made for them!
In my case, I wanted to age down my favourite sims I've played only as young adults. I aged them down to toddlers in CAS and played them in a separate save. When they aged up their facial features were there same, but their voices, eyebrows and hairstyles were different so I just had to tweak those to match the original sims.

She should look exactly as you created her. I do this all of the time. There are certain Sims I create that need to look the way I want them to. Especially, when I've made a replica of a character from a TV show or movie.
