The summer storms have finally hit Brindleton Bay.
Kari doesn't spend much time at home between work shifts, she hardly has time for proper meals. But this evening she had time for a good game of Don't wake the llama with uncle Tony.
The family in Oasis Springs is expecting a new baby. Toddler Laura and aunt Victoria are pretty excited!
It's another girl, and they're naming her Helena.
(I might be focusing less on this branch of the family going forward. I have a lot of plans for the two other households that I want to pay more attention to).
Marte and Pablo are both focusing a little extra on their careers these days. They want to be able to afford a house soon, so they're using every opportunity to cash in some extra payments.
Marte has been performing comedy all around town, and is starting to get noticed for real.
Pablo is also climbing the ladder in his art critic career, and spends a lot of his free time at the art center to network and practice his own art skills.
They couldn't be more happy with nanny Chafik, she's their life saver. But they wish they could spend more time with the children themselves, and really appreciate the moments when they're able to do things like help with school projects.
With Marte's career suddenly making that jump, Pablo feels like he can go back to focusing more on the family instead of promotions. That way he is more present in a time when Marte is less present, and she's starting to make enough money for both of them anyway.
Rebecca has joined a drama club which will keep her busy every day after school. She excitedly tells her father everything about it over dinner. And she's allowed to practice her lines in front of her mother's fabulous star mirror while mom is refining her comedy routines!
The family has had another piece of bad news. Gabriella's sister Maria passed away during the night, so now they're only three siblings left in that generation.
Marco is grieving the loss of his mother, and his daughters are experiencing loss for the first time.
When Harvestfest arrives, they have a big celebration as always - though maybe not as cheerful as normally.
But it's nice to be together, and they're soon back to their own happy selves.
It's also really nice to get to know the youngest members of the family. Marco's Laura is a grown girl now, and Helena is a very attention seeking toddler who gets easily jealous of her sister.
But when she gets to ride on cool teen Timothy's back it's all forgotten. They have a lovely Harvestfest, even though they will remember it as the first family party without Maria.
Pablo loves his work too, especially the part that involves painting murals at the art center.
Jostein loves accompanying his dad to the art center when he can, they have great activity tables for children there and it's so cool to be among real artists.
What's less cool is having to share a room with his sister. They're fighting more lately because they have to share so much and it's more difficult now that they're older.
But their parents see to that they always apologize and make peace before they go to bed.
She's decided to join the next talent showcase, which is taking place at Stargazer lounge. Her friend Raphael and a glass of wine are helping her build up the courage.
It all goes well!
She does an extra show at the outdoor stage afterwards, and Octavia Moon seems to be a fan!
Better grab the chance to get a good picture of her.
Finally a new apartment! They discovered an available one in the Art District that is the perfect size for them. And it's perfect to live in the Art District! The children have separate rooms now, which was one of the main goals with moving.
The apartment has two bathrooms, one with a bubble bath!
With Marte working all the time, Pablo is being the parent hero and helping the kids with their homework and school projects.
Even though his work doesn't start until the afternoon, he gets up early every day to make sure the kids have some breakfast before school.
Then when Marte gets up, he has a wonderful breakfast ready for her. He's made sure it's excellent quality because Marte has already developed a celebrity quirk about only wanting excellent food.
Lena has been trying to get hold of Marte for ages, and Marte finally had some time to hang out with her sister. They went to the gym and then to the karaoke bar for a drink and a country duet.
Just like it's great for Pablo to live near the Art Center, it's nice for Marte to live next to the Humor and Hijinks Festival. She streams her shows there.
Instead of a honeymoon they are taking the hole family on a trip to Windenburg when the wedding is done. The old town is gorgeous in winter!
After they've been ice skating for a while, they spend some time in the warm and cozy library.
Marte is getting recognized in public a lot more now. She recently signed with a big agency that are broadcasting some of her shows on television. This has made her a two star celebrity.
In the evening they are having dinner in a restaurant.

To think the little cutie is turning into a school child!
Nanny Chafik is obviously invited to the party along with the rest of the family (Lena's son Timothy is a teenager now!).
And of course Jostein's party has got to be a family dance party.
And have dinner with the family. Since losing their father in the fire Gabriella and her three children prioritize family more.
It becomes the main topic of discussion at the dinner party she's hosting that evening.
Kari didn't have a boyfriend in her teens, she was never really interested in anyone. But now she feels like she's seeing handsome men everywhere.
Like the dreamy bartender in one of her regular clubs.

They've always felt at home in the Art District, and now it actually is. To have the Art Center right next door is perfect for Pablo.
The welcome wagon has arrived, and Marte is cooking up some egg rolls.
It seems like they have a lot of nice neighbors!
She doesn't know much about video editing yet, but she's learning.
After a late night of work it's great to go to bed in their new spacious bedroom.
And having breakfast in front of the fireplace in their spacious living room is not so bad either. This an all new life for them!
But as the big celebrity moves away, so does the rest of the crowd.
But she's not giving up! She's also recording comedy directly to her blog, in a series called "Today's joke".
She's trying out some other somewhat comedy related concepts as well, like toy reviews. This video is called "Toys for funny children".

It's going great!
Once the show is over, Marte has a surprise for Pablo. They never got around to getting married, but better late than never!
Nanny Chafik will have to work late tonight, these two are not heading home just yet.
When the evening comes, there is enough snow for the children to build a snow pal.
Rebecca is practicing her dramatics and learning new lines every day, and is advancing in her drama club.
Jostein doesn't want to join an after school activity, but he has started to learn piano.
They have some time to play in the snow before they have to get ready for the wedding.
They are having the wedding at the lounge where Marte proposed, which is her favorite spot in town.
Finally married, after all this time!
