I didn't do much in my game last night or so far today, but here are 3 more random screenshots taken the other day when I was in Roaring Heights doing the new Festival lot.

The family enjoyed pancakes for breakfast on Moss's last morning as a child
Moss's waking wish was to ride on the spring rider
Shannon rolled a wish to prepare pancakes after breakfast.
Finnian's waking wish was to paint
Mikezumi rolled a wish to play a game with Moss Although Moss asked Mikezumi for a game of catch at the back of the lot, they made their way to the area I flattened for the fixer-upper car to play! I didn't think Mikezumi would get her game before the bus came.
Shannon and Mikezumi got started on the gardening after the kids left for school.
Mikezumi did a couple of laps with the tractor before letting Shannon finish off. I wanted her to work on her wish to make 50 bottles of nectar. At the end of the day she had 45 bottles worth §7385!
Mikezumi rolled a wish to buy another nectar rack while making this batch. They now have 3 full racks!
Finnian went on a field trip to the Bistro. Norma Davidson was chaperone. Darwin Capp is sitting beside her.
Daniel and Goneril Capp were also there.

The last time I tried to go to Luna Park was in 2004. I was visiting Australia and my sister suggested we go but it was closed. The kids didn't mind and ended up eating ice creams and walking along the beach before we went home.

Finnian got home early because of the field trip.
Moss didn't have Scouts and got home just before Finnian finished his homework.

I didn't know his friend so I cancelled the wish and sent him fishing instead because he had a wish to catch 5 different fish locked in. I forgot to take pics. The family gathered for Moss's birthday
Oh my! He does have hair but it's so short that it's barely visible because of the colour.
I know that his hairstyle is anachronous but this is Moss's original hair.
Moss got Green Thumb on aging up because that was one of his original traits. He rolled a wish to learn the gardening skill so I had him plant an apple tree to unhide the gardening skill he acquired from Scouts.

I didn't make over any of the RH sims as I am only focusing on the main household. Contessa probably looks good because of my default replacement skin.
I love the tough guy look of the RH males - they are "real" men (or at least more like what my idea of "real" men should look like based probably on my age).
Mikezumi is doing the nectar making so that I can test how effective the tractor is in producing enough fruit for an active nectar maker. The first sim week was a bit of a loss because I hadn't thought of the idea yet and the produce was the low quality stuff that came with the lot and were all sold as I won't use less than perfect produce for food or nectar.

It's been quite warm here for the last couple of weeks but it finally got cold again today. It isn't as cold as it was a month or so ago.
I'm still coughing but am definitely improving. I have been working through this thread from where I last gave responses and feedback and it's taken my all morning so far. This, of course, means I probably won't have time now to work on the video. That's probably for the best as my voice is still a bit croaky.

I'll have another go with The Sims one day. I read somewhere that the version I have doesn't work with that file you downloaded. My first disk has the base game and Unleashed all on the one disk. I do have all of the other disks including Makin Magic.

It's a shame you don't have time for the McFluff story because you did keep asking when I was going to start it and when I finally did get myself organised you got busy. Not to worry. I expect they'll be there for a while longer yet and you might get time one day. I don't have any more building videos planned at the moment - but I wasn't planning to do the dormer window video and it happened.
On the McFluff story - one of my friends posted something on Facebook recently that gave me evil ideas - her post was a wish to be able to turn people into cats to make the world a better place. Now - maybe I'm wondering exactly where Old Gertie got all of those cats and why she has this idea she wants to turn them into people.
For what it's worth, the three things I have found that have slowed my games down to slower than a turtle pace are: 1. Over full inventories (thousands of harvestables from using the green dragon or tractor to harvest) 2. Got carried away and added way too many plants to a lot (it looked lovely and tropical but all those plants wafting in the breeze made my sim so slow it was literally 5 minutes between each step. Had to do a bit of gardening and after removing most of the plants all was back to normal.) 3. Massive numbers of horses and strays and homeless sims moved it (but I used a mod to get rid of them not sure h ow you'll fix that one without mods). Cars and limos can do it too but I have Overwatch mod to fix them. An over abundance of ice cream trucks or police cars can be interesting too - the roads get totally clogged but you can at least seem them.

@plushtrap_107 thank you. So far the rinkie dinkie kitchen sinkie hasn't broken. I like to build a big basement and then divide it up into rooms. In this case though, the basement isn't that big. But it does cover the entire lot so the lot isn't very big either - but then it isn't the tiniest available either.
@Tarante11a lucky your sim had a death flower. Years ago one of my sims got hit by a meteor while outdoors tending her garden at home. She died. Grim turned up and she handed over her death flower. That's when I finally worked out what death flowers are for.
Sims always die if they get electrocuted while standing in water.
@SillyCharlie having sims float is something you'll probably see again. Best not to panic. Just reset and move on.
I've given out likes and awesomes. Haven't commented on many posts though. I'll have to leave it here and try to catch up again on another day. Have things to do around the house now. Then, if I have some time I'll try to work on the next video for a while.

I haven't tried a wishes challenge but I don't really care for challenges with the exception of your 5x5.

Jason had decided to visit his friend Holly for the day. (She had been swimming when he came over, explains the bikini
It started out totally casual... they ate a meal together, chatted a lot, caught some TV. Basically getting to know each other better as friends.
But then... something stirred within him...
Jason took a leap...
And Holly was agreeable.
They went outside to watch the stars.
Soon after, Jason headed home. He had asked to spend the night, but Holly wanted to take things slow. He was content and happy, nevertheless.
Now if only he could get his career and finances in order...
I'm still coughing but am definitely improving. I have been working through this thread from where I last gave responses and feedback and it's taken my all morning so far. This, of course, means I probably won't have time now to work on the video. That's probably for the best as my voice is still a bit croaky.

When I saw your post about the festival lot in Roaring Heights, I wondered if you have downloaded the festival lots for the store worlds that the SimGurus made for us. I have them all. They are the same as the original parks, but with festival objects added.

I hope you enjoy the story of Oscar's Childhood. The Oscar's Childhood videos are leading up to the Story of Oscar and Louise. It'll be best to see the childhood videos first. As soon as I've finished his childhood videos I'll move over to doing more chapters of Oscar and Louise and his story will pick up from there. Louise's childhood is in the Oscar and Louise videos. I only decided to do Oscar's childhood story after doing Louise's childhood and then it has been so much fun to work with Oscar and his family in Erewhon that I've made more vidoes of him than I originally meant to.

I found this townie wearing it in my original Oscar and Louise game - the one I was playing before I decided to start again and turn them into a video.
The sim with the long straight blond hair is Louise. This is from the Story of Oscar and Louise when it was just a game I was playing - before I started recording the videos.
I hadn't realised it was in the game at the time and got a few pictures of it.

I'll have another go with The Sims one day. I read somewhere that the version I have doesn't work with that file you downloaded. My first disk has the base game and Unleashed all on the one disk. I do have all of the other disks including Makin Magic.

@Charlottesmom I hope you enjoy the videos you do manage to watch. It's a shame you don't have time for the McFluff story because you did keep asking when I was going to start it and when I finally did get myself organised you got busy. Not to worry. I expect they'll be there for a while longer yet and you might get time one day. I don't have any more building videos planned at the moment - but I wasn't planning to do the dormer window video and it happened.
On the McFluff story - one of my friends posted something on Facebook recently that gave me evil ideas - her post was a wish to be able to turn people into cats to make the world a better place. Now - maybe I'm wondering exactly where Old Gertie got all of those cats and why she has this idea she wants to turn them into people.
For what it's worth, the three things I have found that have slowed my games down to slower than a turtle pace are: 1. Over full inventories (thousands of harvestables from using the green dragon or tractor to harvest) 2. Got carried away and added way too many plants to a lot (it looked lovely and tropical but all those plants wafting in the breeze made my sim so slow it was literally 5 minutes between each step. Had to do a bit of gardening and after removing most of the plants all was back to normal.) 3. Massive numbers of horses and strays and homeless sims moved it (but I used a mod to get rid of them not sure h ow you'll fix that one without mods). Cars and limos can do it too but I have Overwatch mod to fix them. An over abundance of ice cream trucks or police cars can be interesting too - the roads get totally clogged but you can at least seem them.

@plushtrap_107 thank you. So far the rinkie dinkie kitchen sinkie hasn't broken. I like to build a big basement and then divide it up into rooms. In this case though, the basement isn't that big. But it does cover the entire lot so the lot isn't very big either - but then it isn't the tiniest available either.
@Tarante11a lucky your sim had a death flower. Years ago one of my sims got hit by a meteor while outdoors tending her garden at home. She died. Grim turned up and she handed over her death flower. That's when I finally worked out what death flowers are for.
Sims always die if they get electrocuted while standing in water.
@SillyCharlie having sims float is something you'll probably see again. Best not to panic. Just reset and move on.
I've given out likes and awesomes. Haven't commented on many posts though. I'll have to leave it here and try to catch up again on another day. Have things to do around the house now. Then, if I have some time I'll try to work on the next video for a while.
