I am getting around to testing out the restaurant in the African district. Took three pictures of what's going inside, in case any are interested.
I had given the staff different uniforms, trying to fit in with the theme.
In my tester save, I noticed a special cook was there as well.
I only built the 15x20 residential lots they're on the gallery Starter Elegance v1.2 & Family Starter Elegance (by luimistelija), the rest of the lots are The BathHouse (by kerplunk107), Japanese Dojo (by yktan012) and Festival of Lights (by jadeiam).
I dig what you have managed to do with Newcrest! I would like to do something similar, but I normally end up building structures that look just like the french provincial background buildings. Your different districts prove that you can go another route and still make the community look good. Thanks for the inspiration.

@LaBlue0314 you have done a great job. I am so glad that you shared this with us. I am one of those simmers who has to have all the worlds worked out and all the sims in it before I can start to enjoy my game. You have been very creative with the things that you picked from the gallery. Please let us know how you are playing these sims as now I am dying to know what happens to them.
@jimmysnan At the moment I'm adding a few more families from the gallery, and making sure each and every one of them have some kind of back story (not all have perfect happy stories) If the creator has one already, I just carry that forward. I'm working on routing errors and correcting those. What really helps is that there is a mod that forces my game to use the sims I have added, so I'm not seeing any new weird dressed sims at least.

What mod is that? Sorry if it's off topic I am interested. When you finish all this work and you are playing I really would love to meet your families and know the back story and how they play out. You are really on to something here.
Once I get done, I can show everyone the families, and what's going on with them, and maybe some of them will be recognized by their original creators.

Playtesting - not just tabletop games and card games any more. Really that should have been playtested in Beta and not
These are a few of the NPCs I have added to this game save. At the moment Chuck is the Landlord for all of San Myshuno apartments. He was a bit on the cranky side today and didn't want to get his picture taken. But all these guys should be fairly recognizable, they are all pre-made sims from the official trailer that just didn't get into the game for whatever reason.
I keep coming back to this to check the progress. I use my Newcrest like the neighborhood where I live. I have put in a baseball park and a school middle, high and elementary, and then houses off to the side. I never thought of using it like this. I wish there was a way we could add more worlds to this game. I would add so many that the computer would be smoking!!! LOL I love this idea. I worked in the schools here for 30 years before retirement so I think that is why I have to have at least one in my game.

Cool, thank you for bringing this to my attention.
At the moment I'm looking for routing errors, finding and fixing them as well.

My favourite area I think is the Japanese styled area. But the others are out of this world too! Really talented I think.
Saying "not to be rude", then blatently being rude does not excuse rude behavior.
I would love that. Thanks for the link
Yes, it is, here's the link to it.

I am still hoping that they'll add this in as a possibility.
Just give me a bit of time, I can do this.
