@Exagie Plum yeah Gone Girl! Gillian Flynn is one of my favorite writers and Gone Girl is one of my favorite films. I can't effing wait for the TV adaptation of her first novel Sharp Objects.
I've just started Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman - I wanna read it before watching the film adaptation.
Lol, I don't think the OP is bothering with this thread any more since they've not commented at all! Anyhoo, I'm currently reading 'The Girl With All the Gifts' and enjoying it.

I'm reading "Every Mountain Made Low" by Alex White [It's an interesting story told mostly from the perspective of an autistic young woman. There's a bit of occult in it, though, if supernatural isn't your thing. It is most certainly mine!]
I don't really have a preference when reading novels, my favorite so far, and still is, Haruki Murakami's The Wind-up Bird Chronicles, well, every work of Haruki Murakami is great and they open your eyes to a lot of possibilities and great imagery :D
I'm currently reading The General's Daughter by Nelson DeMille
