The bugged eyes of Caleb Vatore

This guy's eyes completely change shape if he is cured of vampirism or if his age is changed. Even if you make a clone of him, his eyes become small and ugly. He also passes down these weird eyes to his children instead of his actual eyes. Something is seriously wrong with his eye genetics. I believe it can be traced back to Update: 11/9/2017 – PC 1.36.102.1020 / Mac 1.36.102.1220. However, the issue of his eyes changing shape when he is cured of vampirism has been present for a lot longer. I am desperately hoping for this to be fixed since I use Caleb avidly in my stories. Can others confirm the same is happening in their game?

Young Adult Caleb's normal eyes (not passed down to his children)

Teen Caleb with weird buggy eyes (passed down to his children)

I don't know about Caleb, but I know there is an issue with alien faces becoming distorted once they age up, so this could be a life states issue. Caleb has a family in my games and none of his kids have got the weird eyes; they all seem to have taken after their mother.

Have you tried starting a new game and change his age in CAS or play with genetics with him as parent?

It looks like it's happening in my game, too.

If it helps, I found that changing his eyes (and then undoing the change) before aging him up or down in cas keeps them the same. And this also seems to make them work fine for his kids. I don't know if this would help if you leave cas, though. I haven't tested.

I was wondering about this. His daughter with my sim had extremely tiny eyes.

@Nindigo Hey, sorry I think you may have misunderstood my comment! I was saying I haven't had any issues with Caleb so far, but I have had similar problems with Aliens once they age up.

I also have this problem. It's too annoying for me as he is a major character in all my saves.

I want his children to get his original eyes, not the other ugly one.
