My matriarch is Hailee Maynard and she currently just gave birth to babies 3 and 4. I decided each generation will have a naming scheme, starting with colours, and I've also decided to blog it. We will see how that goes though as I don't always get much time to play with everything going on in my life right now but I couldn't seem to stay away from the sims LOL
#1 - Auburn Maynard - Male Twin
#2 - Ash Maynard - Male Twin
#3 - Blue Maynard - Girl Twin
#4 - Beige Maynard - Girl Twin
I've already started the challenge breaking one rule. I gave her a large house as I never get far sticking strictly to the rules. It's completely unfurnished and she must make enough to get furnish it AND pay the bills. Speaking of which, the first set of bills should be in soon. If anything it may make the challenge a little more difficult.
So far it's a tie between the girls and boys but at least that will guarantee that the next birth will be a single and bring the household up to eight! Not including if the twin boys get A's aund age up and move out by the time Hailee gets pregnant and gives birth.
when the mother becomes and elder does her daughter still have to follow the aging rules or can we just age her up to a young adlut?
If your daughter hasn't gotten an A, you still work at getting an A. She's not in any danger of getting taken away if your elder matriarch dies. Teens can live on their own. This is assuming she's a teen. If she's a child, I'd make sure you still keep an eligible sibling sim in the house until your next matriarch is at least a teen, so you aren't in any danger of her being whisked away by children services, thus ending your game.
I'm playing with pregnancy ageing on (mod) so it's a bit more generational, and I'm also playing with the On Ley Line trait, which is a double-edged sword.
@pickledsimmer with my 4th matriarch, she had 22 babies. Her last 6 were boys. Thankfully, I didn't move out the last girl when she aged up.. I always keep the last girl around just in case, my matriarch fails to produce a girl, when she is close to elder. Typically, you can have about 22-23 babies in a generation.. by my experience anyway. (this was before toddlers though.. so that might have changed now.)

Sims are unable to ask them to leave or say goodbye to them and they can move through doors set to only allow household members. > Workaround: At this moment there are only temporary solutions to this glitch. Visiting a different lot with the family or sending them home via mc cheats will make them leave but they will return after a while. A drastic solution is to delete them using the mc command center but they also leave once the toddlers age up into children. You can also add them to a group, then the option to ask them to leave should appear.
I've had this happen and since I still had a good relationship with the guy, I invited him to stay the night and then in the morning the option to ask him to leave was there.

Another work around is to click on them and select action and create a group. There will now be an option to ask to leave. I don't remember how long they will stay away though, but they do go away for a little while.
@stargirl18 I've followed you! Love reading these challenges more than any other, I think.
I wanted to let everyone know that I've started over (again) but this time, I did it because I want to blog my challenge from day one. If you're interested, please take a look below!
I recently started another round of this challenge. The rules I set for myself are a bit stricter, especially when it comes to children:
Babies I let age up by themselves.
Toddlers I age up at their natural birthday.
Children need to get an A, finish their Aspiration, and have all 4 skills on level 10.
Teens need to get an A.
The plan is to get children with all townies first, which means that I have saved the townie families to my library to replace the ones that die because I usually leave aging on normal for everyone.
I also don't let the mother become pregnant again until the baby has aged up. I want to have more generations this time around, to see some of the genetics play out.
Here the (first) mother of the bunch, Eva:
The stats so far (1-15): Gender
female 7
male 8 Hair
black 3
blonde 12 Eyes
blue 9
brown 5
purple 1

1 Anne (with Dennis Kim)
2 Bryson (with Jacques Villareal)
3 Cristopher (with Bjorn Bjergsen)
4 Darion (with Victor Feng)
5 Erika (with Marcus Flex)
Very interesting rules. Tough rules too for the children! I can see the aspiration being okay, but all skills to 10.. boy howdy. Good luck! Especially if you have multiples. btw.. I had no idea that the spoiler was a tag that could be used! way cool!
It leads to her being almost an adult with only 5 children. Plus having various breakdowns (peeing herself, passing out from exhaustion) while trying to keep the little monsters on track. Parenting skill is already maxed out, but somehow half of the kids rolled "Insane" as one of their traits ... Fun!
Hey, guys! So, I've posted up to baby #80 on my profile(EthanHS); numbers 81-85 are still at home and Hadrian is pregnant with 86 maybe also 87(I have had an insane number of multiples). The end is in sight and it looks like baring unexpected death that I will finish this challenge with just Hadrian, one generation. To be fair though it is pretty unrealistic that Hadrian is still 20 days from being an elder and he has outlived 45 of his first 80 children and 25 of his 67 grandchildren and at this rate will out live about 6 of his great grandchildren and possibly 2-3 of his 2x great grandchildren. I am getting a weird game glitch though where 2nd cousins are unable to marry when they should be able to. Anything from 2nd cousin and out will show 'roommate' in the drop down relation option in CAS, which should mean they can have a relationship. Except in my game the 'roommate' is greyed out and even with full edit on I can not change it and marry the two sims in question. I can marry 2nd cousin 1 removed and am waiting to try with 3rd cousins but according to official Sims I should be able to marry 2nd cousins. I don't know if this is a game glitch, a glitch in my save file or if I messed something up when I tried some mods awhile ago and then removed them later on. Any suggestions for solution or similar problems?

This is the challenge mother, Seraphine Angel.
I'm playing with pregnancy ageing on (mod) so it's a bit more generational, and I'm also playing with the On Ley Line trait, which is a double-edged sword.
So far I've had:
#1 - Pollux (triplet)
#2 - Sirius (triplet)
#3 - Tucana (triplet)
#4 - Taurus (twin)
#5 - Aldebaran (twin)
It has been a mess, but thanks to some sleep replacement potions the triplets managed to age up to child early. The twins just became toddlers.
I'm also doing a thing where I change the naming theme every time a new matriarch takes over. Obviously for Seraphine it's constellations/stars.

Let us know how it is! I've been waiting to start this over once the pack came out but have to wait to download it tomorrow.
What's the longest stretch your matriarch has gone having the same gender over and over?

Quite a long time. Genration 1- I had nearly all girls. Gne 2- Nearly all boys- Hardly any girls.
I had 31 on my first genration
Daang.. that's insane.
