Thanks for my 2nd placing and generous comments. I wasn't expecting that as all the entries were amazingly done. Congrats to all the placings and the winner of round 1
And, everyone did a fabulous job with the first assignment. It was so nice to view all the wonderful creativity. It really makes my day to look at the awesome pics you all submit each round! Keep up the amazing work everyone!!
@Penguin@Emily looks fantastic. The "working class" ladies on the side of the road are certainly "eying" her off LOL
THANKS! LOL! thats exactly what I was going for, I wanted to picture a woman who ended up well off and still doing perfectly fine during the depression, who came from money, who was just running an errand walking on the sidewalk.
If anyone needs suggestions don't hesitate to ask me or any of the other judges for help or tips. We are willing to give any advice or guidelines if you find yourself at a stalemate, are unsure of your image, don't understand or are confused by the brief. We can't do it for you, but we can give you tips to help that way.

Hmph, not super duper happy with how this one turned out. Got the assignment done for Sabrina, I tried to make it look like a family photo of a working class woman but I just couldn't find the CC I wanted. Still, I think it's good how it is, so here you go.
Thank you for the kind words, Jen! I also got my other entry done, again going for the working class vibe (or the lack thereof). Even less satisfied with this one, guess I just didn't have enough inspiration for the 1930s

Trash isn't sure about his decision to run away to join a circus in the dustbowl.
He's just a bit of carny Trash.
Inspired by a certain tv show with this particular setting.
Also, still struggling to get stuff cut out neatly using gimp. It's a tricksy one.

1930s art deco is now my favourite thing. I kinda wish I had the Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack for this...if would've been so much easier XD
