Missing Save

I tried to search but wasn't coming across what I needed. Has anyone had a save just disappear? It's not in my list of saves at all. I do have a game save that is in my folder, but not in my game. (Is that how corrupt saves look? I've never had one so not sure if that's the issue) I've removed my mods folder, I've repaired my game...

I figured as one final effort to find my game I'd come here and ask. *shakes fist at electronics*

That file used to be the autosave file, but this was changed in a recent patch.The game now no longer auto saves, so the file is not now used.
Is there only one save game file that you are missing? Could it perhaps been overwritten by another save game?

That's what I was thinking now after you asked.. that it was the file that was auto created.

It /could/ have been, but I'd never done it before. (doesn't mean that it may not happen haha) but most of my files including that one was named.. and only one isn't named now. I'm figuring that might be the best explanation.. if nothing else is probable because just ONE file disappeared!.. Lol (of course it was my longest running one also... *shakes head*)

I am so sorry

You could try going back to earlier versions of the save game files that you have and check to see if it may be your missing save game . If you decide to try that, go to the main screen of sims 4, and click on the " load game " button.Click on the save game file picture. Then click on the " recover game " button down the right hand side bottom of the screen,. Press on an earlier version of the save game from the menu that pops up. Then load that save game version.
