Best Custom Content Websites

So,
Which is the best, most reliable, safest, best quality, CC website?

So far I have:
Mod the Sims
The Sims resource
My Sims blog

And, can you tell me what is the best for?
Ex: The exchange is the best for hair color, but xxx is the best for hair.

Thanks,
-guitargirl28

I adore Parsimonious (http://www.parsimonious.org/sims3.html). They have lots of good stuff. I love their patterns and they have high quality clothes and furniture.

My favoirte sites for hair are Beaverhausen and Anubis Under The Sun.

    http://beaverhausenx.tumblr.com/tagged/Female-Hair
    http://anubis360.blogspot.de/p/catalog.html

For clothes I like All About Style.
    http://www.all-about-style.com/sims3.html

I don't really download that many CC, only a bit of hair and some clutter.

Don't go to the Sims Resources, that site will give your computer a virues. All About Style is a good Website.

Thank you for telling me this beforehand. I have some CC from who-knows-where (it just showed up one day(super wierd, right?)) and a pose pack + pose player from MTS.

I'm fairly new to cc but after reading many threads about cc sites I use the ones who are considered by the community as being safe...MTS, Peggyzone and Anubis Under The Sun for just about anything. I dl'ed some furniture from SimsCredible by Design but found my sims' actions didn't coincide with the shape of the furniture.

I love the shiny floors by Morph on MTS.
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

I don't like shiny hair (because they don't match the EA made content) so I like these places for hair:

    http://lerzlemon.tumblr.com/tagged/downloads
    http://reissims.blogspot.com/
    http://ohmycc.tumblr.com/
    http://apatheticsims.tumblr.com/hair

(as well has beaverhausen's ea versions of hair, and the ea versions of hair located here: http://ageiha.livejournal.com/ )

    For skins I like:
    http://therewasnothingleft.tumblr.com/tagged/Downloads

    For eyes:
    http://moonskin93.tumblr.com/tagged/Downloads

    For clothes:
    http://www.sentate.co.uk/
    http://sentate.tumblr.com/tagged/Downloads

That's what I can add to your list off the top of my head. Oh and thumbs down to keeping the sims resource on the list. That place has bad cc and will cause viruses.

I don't have much CC but I am open to it. Some places that are good is Traelia's blog and My Sims 3 Blog has a wide variety of different things.

I hope you find something nice. :)

    ^^ This

I guess it all depends on what you're looking for (ie buld/buy stuff, accessories, CAS, etc). However, here are a few of my faves:

    Anubis Lots of great stuff
Ace Creators Has some Anubis stuff, and a few other really talented creators (hairs and clothing)
Garden of Shadows Very unique stuff here (awesome site!)
Lapiz's Scrapyard (fantabulous male hair - use the filter on the right if you want to skip to just Sims 3 stuff)
Club Crimsyn See Garden of Shadows
Sims 3 Real Estate Nice real estate
Custom Sims 3 (aka CS3) Very nice real estate site and the people are really nice :)
Fresh Prince FP's awesome vehicles (you can never have too many cars in game)

There are so many out there. Good luck in your search.

    Edit: Fixed a link.

Hi, I know that you posted this about 5 years ago, but I've been using TSR for not to long and when I saw peoples comments here saying "Don't go to TSR, it gives you viruses." At first I freaked out thinking I just download cc that would give me viruses But instead of being irrational and deleting all of my CC, I searched if TSR is safe and many people stated, "I've been using TSR and it's completely safe. I hadn't got any viruses at all." Just want to let you know that its safe to use.

    I really like
    http://aroundthesims3.com
    Mostly objects.

I also like TSR, didn't have problems with it.
When I had bad cc in the past it was because of sims/households from the exchange, it was a mess to find which item is causing the problem. In TSR I download usually specific items.

    For jewelry Natalis on TSR
    For eyes/makeup/build/buy PralineSims on TSR
    Goth eyes RemusSirion on TSR
For homes/build/buy Peacemaker who is on tumblr and the Gallery

My favorite CC might be Sintiklia's amazing eyelashes which make sims very pretty! :D http://creations-for-sims-3-by-sintiklia.blogspot.fi/2015/01/big-set-of-eyelashes-few-collections.html

The only problem is that I can't move to different worlds when I use those lashes :dizzy: Anybody got a solution for that?

I've never gotten any virus from TSR and it's been my go to website for CC ever since I started playing Sims 3. I do usually get myself a VIP subscription for 1 month whenever I go hunt for CC though (which is a once in a year occasion on average), so I don't get any of the ads that might have viruses if you accidentally click on them. I can also recommend using addblocker before going there. Even without paying I never had any unwanted pop-ups because I use addblock plus (which is a free plugin for google chrome). I also only download mostly from featured artists that have a lot of downloads already so no suspicious unknown creators with 1 item or something.

@Namaya92 TSR does have some skeptical features. Some of the CC on there are dangerous and can harm your device but if you are careful then there is no reason to worry. Many people have encountered issues with TSR and so it is recommended as a beginner CC down-loader to not start there until you get the hang of it.

Have you seen the amazing houses by these Korean simmers? http://blog.naver.com/muler84/10085623793 (downloadable here: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=3112817) --- I'd love to see a tutorial on making that house.

My favorites are the houses by Bangsain: http://myskyring.blog.me/221003657787
