    Features you miss from TS the most

    I always miss features from the sims 1 the most. I don't know if it's because it was the first game I played and I was crazy about it and I was like 11 so everything impressed me more or whatever, but I still have some really nice memories. I miss:

    -The heart bed
    -Both hot tubs the heart one and the one that looked like a barril
    -The costume chest
    - The little fish tank
    - All about makin magic
    - Bonehilda (which has made come backs)
    - The bear rug
    - I actually miss the different "shops" we had in each EP were sims would buy CAS items linked to the EP
    - The dancing in cells
    - The real NPCs like Claire the bear, the guy who would come to successful parties, mystery box guy and party poopers

    Anyone miss something from TS?

      1. Bands/active singing career
      2. Cars
      3. Teens having other thing to do besides go to school party
      4. Having to buy clothing

      can't think of any others right now but I'm sure there is

      • Witches, Fairies, Werewolves, and all other Supernatural states.
      • Terrain Tools.
      • Create-A-World.
      • Create-A-Style.
      • Pets.

      Edit: Ah, I thought you meant the whole of the series, not just TS1.

      But what I miss most about that game in particular was the slightly adult aspects. It felt a little more cheeky and risque in some areas. As the series has developed, it's become more 'family friendly' and some of the satirical elements have been lost too.

      From TS1 I miss the weird sense of humor. The chemistry lab that could turn your sim into a monster (which made you lose control of the sim and it went around destroying everything). The prank calls. The cake dancers. Making magic gnomes. The tacky cheap furniture and wallpapers.

      That cheat repeater was the best lol, very useful. I also miss the train model or whatever adult sims would play with too.

      Personally, it's the simple things that I miss. In fact, I think they were included in TS1-TS3 to be truthful...
      • Burglar NPC
      • Firefighter NPC
      • Home Security Systems
      • Lounge Chairs
      • Sprinklers
      While these are small additions, I feel that they would add a lot in terms of gameplay (for me at least). :)

      • The way you could own a business and live upstairs

      I miss...

      The way the sims reacted to situations like in TS2.

      Miss the freedom of the open world of Ts3.

      I hate the loading screens, I only wish they had made a semi open world so the lots in the playable district did not require loading between lots. I could deal with a loading screen between districts.

      I miss washing machines too.

      I miss better premium items aswell.

      Sims: Pets, pet trainer, that old woman in the pet ep that had a little house and like 3-5 cats, magic.

      Sims 2: Pets, fears, random occurrence (burglar, teens running away, etc) shorter teens, pet jobs, shops (how you could have one on your home lot, how the selling etc worked), impress a headmaster to get your kids into a private school.

      Sims 3: Pets, faeries/witches/werewolves, all the toddler stuff from the online shop, laundry, prom, bunkbeds.


      What I can remember so far. Oh did I mention pets?
      Apartment EP Suggestions.

      Ideas on how to improve babies.

      The terrain tool! I know it wasn't in Sims1 from the start. Does anyone remember what pack it came in? And yes, the famous guy in the limo who showed up at your parties, ha ha.

      So many features I miss.
      Ts1: house party, that was my favorite EP. Miss the cage/gogo dancers and a dancer pop out the cake lol
      Ts2: cars, university, the apartments(build our own) and seasons, the UI, wants/fears, memories, slow dance, date system, turn on/turn offs, NPC firemen/policeman/buglers, pool activities
      Ts3: bands, aspiration rewards, butler, create a world, spiral/ L shaped stairs, singing career, self employment, werewolfs, pets, curved pools, lakes/swimming in lakes, house boats...terrain tools.

      Thats just from the top of my head right now. There is so much more. Funny that we don't have at least some of these things yet and its the 4th iteration of the series :#

      An old mod item called the Rejuvenator for TS1 you would step in and green up totally
      Celebrities like Drew Carey and Christina Aguilera
      Heart shaped bed
      The amount of modded content and new items (it was much easier to do, and so there was TONS of beautiful CC in my game)

      I mentioned this before, but I loved the vampires in TS1 that would autonomously say "Bleh....BLEH!!" So hilarious!
