Vintage Glamour
Just bought Vintage Glamour.
EA delivered on those toddlers big time, so I am opening my EA wallet.
[Updated]
The designs are great, but I'm not into the furniture because of the blocky meshes.
It's the game play objects and the clothes that will have me buying stuff packs.
Meling is about to get glamorized at the vanity table.
You look mauhvelous.
Just wait until your moms see you.
No reaction to her makeup, but I can imagine bemusement.
OMG.
These are pictures are from November. Time is flying.
Rebooting all my sims with a new save is becoming a liability because I probably won't be able to immerse myself fully into the game until the weekend. I am reinserting sims, getting their careers started, adding lots, and editing lots. So I am not able to just sit back and play, and the nice little experiences are slow to arrive.
One cute thing is my sim, Olivia, has another one of my sims as a neighbor. He's athletic and keeps coming over in the morning to get her to workout. The problem is she's just about to leave for work. She has some days off now, and I will have her take him up on it, if he shows up again.
Things are starting to happen now.
My sim's landlord (on the left) asked Olivia out for breakfast.
Breakfast at a very posh restaurant, for which Olivia has to pay for it.
EA really should tweak that so the inviting sim pays, but it's a nice excuse to go out.
After breakfast, I sent Olivia to the arts center for some quick leveling up of her painting skill.
She got a call from one of my cat sims inviting her out to the romance festival. I also invited along other sims she knew.
This makes for a nice sized gathering:
Olivia is so tired though, I will probably spend this time trying to earn enough points for her to acquire a sleep replacement potion.
Sakura tea for everyone.
My cat sim is the one with the cat ears and tail. She's the flirty type, so it makes sense that she would invite Olivia out for this.
[
Okay, I think the amount of CC I have is about to be overused.
That's supposed to be for my Geekcon pirates.
Olivia ran out of steam and she can't nap during this festival.
She's calling it a night.
I am going to have to stockpile need fulfillment potions.
I am still jumping around from sim to sim as I get all my sims set up again, but this looks like it's going to make playing my sims more enjoyable. I really like how I see them more often and that they are always wanting to get together and do something.
I've had a lot of little moments like my sim haggling for a better price at the flea market and then selling those same items in buy mode for a nice little profit. I wonder if she can get more than buy mode prices by selling them on the street.
Riya is one of my sims that I started off with. She's here in Windenburg hanging out with a sim that will eventually become a roommate.
She doesn't have a standard job.
She's a painter, singer/guitar player, and soon to be herbalist.
I loved how her roommate gained fun as Riya practiced singing.
She should have lost fun by how bad the singing was, but I guess she just appreciated her effort to improve.
The Humor and Hijinks festival I believe.
She didn't go to it, but the fireworks were appreciated.
There is only one other apartment on this floor and these are her neighbors.
Having a romance aspiration, she will probably be dating one of them soon.
Her roommate revealed herself as being an alien.
"Hold on, let me browse the internet for a sec."
Much to my continued dissatisfaction it's not much of a big deal to sims.
A Day In The City
I have been playing and playing and playing, and not reporting in my simming thread as usual.
So I have so many pictures that I am at a loss to even decide what to post. It's easiest just to grab my last shots.
Here are some and the rest are behind the spoiler tag.
I had to rotate around to Cairo because he was putting on serious weight.
I've had him hit the gym and spend time now and then on the court.
SWISH!
That house from the shot above is where Zane and his roommates now live.
I will cover that in the next post.
Inconsiderate, aren't they?
Hmm... She seems less angry now.
What that your artwork?
So mean.
I'm still not crazy about elevator spawns, but this did give me a chuckle when Cairo appeared with a party of eight.
You seem secure in a fortress of hotness there, Cairo:
Never mind that one.
Check out Meadow Thayer at your four o'clock position.
Break!
Sorry, Daniel.
You missed it.
Maybe we should call her Moon Thayer, because she's orbiting you.
She want's you.
Dang, give this game some attraction, so I can stop imagining it.
I had other sims to get slim and trim.
Olivia didn't take long, but Shanice had really put on pounds at the festivals.
She's wearing her angry eyes.
Fierce!
Melissa is cultivating awareness of her inner being and higher purpose.
"Ow!"
"I'm not doing that."
Kara Monteroy hasn't had any weight issues at all.
She's keeping in shape while she waits for that Superstar Expansion pack.
Maybe there will be a career where she can be a supermodel and strut the catwalk.
Speaking of cats...
There's one.
And here is another...
...up to no good.
That painting will do nicely for a quick 500 simoleons.
A true cat burglar here.
Festivals are great,
for emptying the art gallery, so she can lift some paintings at her leisure.
What I Did To The Old Salt House
It's just a house lot, but I like the idea of my sims owning a converted warehouse.
It's a bit plain though, so I wanted to give my own spin to it.
So I moved it on the property and tugged a few wall here and there and added on in other places.
I didn't want to totally change it though.
I want to keep the interior design.
And this is what my sims are now living in.
I didn't build it in edit mode.
I had my sims earn it in Live mode. I had a great time with it and I have neglected all my other sims in rotation while I played these guys.
Here is some of what happened:
Zane discovered some dragon fruit and U.F.O. plants at one of the festivals.
He used this area for a garden. This has come in handy in funding their renovation.
These guys are in the Tech Guru career and this is pretty much their life when they are not working, sleeping, or eating.
That's Graham Nardone on the left.
Those plants are thriving and I will soon him have start grafting for faster yields.
This place gained an extra room and a basement.
There is plenty of space and I am considering adding another roommate.
I got rid of the karaoke bar next door and put in a small park.
Orlando Purdue (long lost relative to Ollie Purdue) discovered sims can be abducted in the city.
Pay no attention to that UFO in the middle of the city.
And finally that long awaited day arrive for which my sims celebrated with great zeal.
Geekcon!
Their cosplay club is named The Dark Side, for obvious reasons.
There is something not right about seeing Darth Vader with a hotdog.
Geekcon is over and as much as I would like to have them wear these forever, they must return to reality.
They will be training for the next Geekcon. They failed to win any prizes and they never did try the hackathon.
So things were going along well, but Zane changed the dynamic of the household.
He got a girlfriend and moved her in.
But what a girlfriend! She kind of reminds me of Sandra Bullock, and she's an astronaut to boot.
Okay, one downside is she's insane, but other than that, she's really cool.
@SimGuruGraham was skeptical about this new arrangement.
But he isn't having any trouble adapting.
She's so cool that she started looking for girlfriends for the other guys.
They need the help.
They really do need to get away from those computers.
The first get together wasn't exactly stimulating.
I'm sure things will turn out great and I will see them around a lot more.
@CK213 I recently had a skyrim mod spree too. My original game was already modded but with the SE, which I think runs better, I had to mod it up. Can't go wrong with 2k texture, static mesh, much other. Although I am struggling to find a decent ENB.
I know your cats are full CC, you did list them once long time ago and I managed to download all the required items
Anyways, hope you find a balance, else enjoy Skyrim!
@CK213 - Woo! Glad to see the updates! And I totally understand about Skyrim . . . that game has kidnapped me a time or two as well. I play on console (PS4) rather than PC, so I don't get as many great mods sadly. But I still love the game.

It's so funny to me that toddlers came the moment I was ready to put TS4 aside for a very long time and just give Skyrim a good go.
I should be playing now, but I don't want to lose any momentum with Skyrim. I haven't really gotten deep into it yet. I have a mod delays the main quest and the appearance of dragons.
All I am doing now is working of crafting skills and selling the things I make.
I used the money to buy homes I am gathering followers and setting them up in those homes.
I nearly have all the things I wanted before getting into any major quests.
We have horses, homes, and an airship for traveling long distances and hauling are stuff about.
I want to collect a couple of more followers and set them up at my homes and then dismiss everyone and focus on the Companions quest line. After that I will do the Civil War story, and then Dawn Guard before moving on to main quest and Dragon Born.
This time around Skyrim looks so different because of the Verdant grass mod and Bigger Trees mod that I am using.
I took an alternative mountain path to Riften and the flora was so thick it was difficult to make out the path at times.
It felt so realistic.
I wanted to have a mage join my group of followers.
After performing her quest, Illia joined me.
I don't plan to have more than 2 or 3 followers with me while on a quest, but I want a large group to choose from and group them according to what skills I need.
A couple more game packs, stuff packs, and an expansion pack and then I will probably be ready to jump back into TS4.
But if I need a Skyrim break I will definitely get back into TS4. Until then, I do have some more TS4 posts to make from past game sessions that I have yet to post.
Whats your grass density sat too? I removed the mod due to much FPS impact.
Also if you are doing quests, I would suggest getting Cutting Floor it adds several NPCs, some quests, and other miscellaneous content which was created but never implemented in the game. Truth to be told, I could sit here for a very long time listing all the good mods I believe really makes the game awesome, which is about 50+ mods so xD
Enjoy Skyrim, once you again emerges, you might find vampires game pack are out, plus more, depending on how long the game got a hold on you
Bastet needs a Thrill Seeker ambition or trait. She's bored.
So she trots off to the new world, Forgotten Hollow, looking for something to cure her boredom.
Lame!
She's still bored.
Where can a cat girl find some excitement?
Caleb Vatore comes along along, wondering: What manner of creature is this?
She's a cat sim, Caleb, a creation ostracized Windenburg scientist, Dr. Magnanimous Von Orotund. His illegal genetic experiments with cat and human cloning resulted in three hybrid beings. Bastet and two other cat sims were discovered in his basement after neighbor's complaints about abnormally loud meowing.
His curiosity satisfied, Caleb takes off at incredible speed in a blur of black smoke.
It happened so fast I didn't even get a picture:
Now he is inside his house.
That got Bastet's attention!
How did he do that?
Can he teach her how to do it?
What else can he do?
She never noticed that his guy doesn't have a reflection.
Caleb decides to set her on the path.
She should make an interesting creature of the night.
Bastet wonders if this is actually part of the process, or is he just getting freaky with her.
Oh well, she's not bored anymore.
She feels odd;
kind of weak, kind of hungry, kind of thirsty.
Caleb bites his wrist and offers her his blood.
She would not normally do this, but she can't help herself.
She must drink.
He tells her that she will be on the path to new powers in a few days.
She sends a cryptic text message to the other cat girls about her becoming a creature of the night.
Bastet is overcome with stronger hunger pains.
It's time to go anyway. She'll just go home and have lunch.
She could eat a horse.

I haven't edited any grass settings, but fade distance is maxed.
I just found out that major civil war battles makes the game unplayable. I will try dropping my resolution for the next one. I just want to get through the civil war just to get it over with. Normal game play is fine.
I will probably try the Cutting Floor for my next play through.
Hopefully enough of my mods will be ready for the Special Edition. It's going to be a long wait before the next Elder Scrolls game, so I will probably be playing through Skyrim again.
Hopefully I will be done before the end of February.
I plan of Playing Through Mass Effect again before Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out.
Creature of The Night
Bastet arrives at the dance club to sample the night life and try out her new powers.
The first person she spies is the sweetest of them all and it's quickly decided who her first victim familiar will be.
Candy Behr, sweet as candy.
But none of this being all friendly and asking for permission business:
Bastet is thirsty.
Jewel is shocked by what is happening.
Turn around Melonie and check out the lack of a Bastet's reflection in the mirror.
Haley is totally unaware of the arrival of vampires to The Sims 4 world.
I suspect she believes something else is going on here.
Invigorating!
Candy doesn't know what to think.
What just happened?
Bastet's note to self:
Next time have a taste of Vaughn.
???
Hey, we have points to acquire some vamp powers!
From cat to bat.
How cool is that.
She is mainly interested in the new abilities that being a vampire will give her.
She doesn't care for the need to drink other sim's plasma. She will have to reconcile that in the future.
She gives dark meditation a try even tough she doesn't need it right now.
Her dark from certainly shows her dark side.
How does it compare to her original form?
She's just a playfully incorrigible kitty cat.
Until the thirst hits.
And she starts leaving her mark on any nearby sims.
So be aware of that dark and seductive looking DJ you find in the dance clubs TS4 sims.
However, it's only to pick up Mass Effect 2 again.
Why?
Because I am gearing up for Mass Effect Andromeda.
Mass Effect Andromeda starts after the events of Mass Effect 2. It takes them over 600 years to get to the Andromeda galaxy, so Mass Effect 3 is well over with by the time they get there.
So where does this leaves me with The Sims 4?
I will get to them after I am done with Skyrim and the Mass Effect games.
But I have had a cool idea.
I am going to take all my favorite sims...
And change them into toddlers!!
I will give them parents and raise them to teens.
And send them to University when we get it.
From there on I will start playing The Sims as I normally do.
Oh my gosh. I think that would be fun.
But I will still wait until I am done with Skyrim and Mass Effect Andromeda.
However, this of course means...
Another Freakin' Reboot!
Status Update!
I still haven't touched TS4 much, except to go in and give Melonie and Ling a toddler.
I also moved them out of the city and their apartment and put them back in their old house in Newcrest.
I may drop in on them once in a while, but I don't think I will be playing TS4 seriously until we get University.
I know I've said until we get toddlers, but University is also part of the reason. I don't enjoy playing generations until I can send the kids off to college and they graduate and are ready to start their careers and eventually a family so I can send their kids to university.
It may be a while before we get University, but I have plenty to keep me occupied.
And wow, is Mass Effect Andromeda keeping me occupied!
I went with a custom Sarah Ryder instead of the default because I wanted to try out the character creator.
Andromeda's character creator is awful.
You are limited to some hideous preset characters with very little control over their facial features.
I choose this one because she seemed the best choice for making a normal looking person.
I wish her eyes didn't have those beady looking irises. She always looks surprised.
I don't think we have control over the size of them. I'll have go back in to know for sure, but you can't edit her after the game starts.
The game is beautiful though.
And this time it's open world and more about exploration.
I eventually received a personal ship (The Tempest) so I could explore a tiny portion of the Andromeda galaxy.
And a crew.
The details of the interior is really cool.
I enjoyed riding around in the Mako in Mass Effect 1.
The Nomad is even better.
Peebee.
I am not sure what to make of her. She's no Liara, that's for sure.
But Pelessaria B’Sayle (her true name) is interesting.
Shepard's private quarters on the Normandy has nothing on the captain's quarters aboard the Tempest.
Drack is no Rex...
But he is interesting too.
So, don't know when I will be fully immersed in The Sims 4, but for now I am seriously enjoying Andromeda.
ME: Andromeda looks beautiful! (Though I'd also read that the character creation was not good...) I'll definitely get it at some point so great to see some screenshots. TS4-wise, I think we'll probably be getting Pets as the next EP, which for me is a bit meh - much rather have seasons/weather/university... There was a rumour a couple weeks back about some DLC called "On Campus" but I think we can safely file that under "fake news"...
Do you like toddlers, though? I was never a rabid member of Team Toddler, but now we have them I do love them - the best of the franchise so far I think.

Both of my boys are playing Mass Effect Andromeda. They are having fun with it.
Seasons, University, and Generations (w/pre-teens) are mainly what I want if I am really going to get into TS4.
I am not getting the Bowling Stuff pack. I'll just wait until the next game pack, and maybe even the next EP and just buy them all at the same time.
Mass Effect Andromeda is getting a lot of hate.
I don't think the game deserves all the hate it's getting. The hater's are just using some of its unfortunate flaws to lash out at it for other reasons.
It's a weird mix of:
-Those who hate Bio-Ware for the Mass Effect: 3's ending(s).
-Those who hate the racist employee who was on the development team.
-Those who hate Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) and are just using the game as a platform to complain about them.
-Those who hate feminists and are blaming them for influencing bio-ware to make primarily unattractive women in the game.
I'm well into it now and I really love it.
The game is huge! I've visited 5 worlds so far and there is so much to do it's difficult to keep track of it all.
I think the character animations get better later in the game.
A few more pictures.
I am amazed that some people have finished the game already. I guess they have a lot of time on their hands, or they skipped the side quests.
There is a wonderful sense of exploration to this game. I am taking my time, looking into everything.
I never played any of the earlier iterations of ME so I have no preconceptions at all, and it looks fun so I'll definitely get it at some point. I love these massive rpgs - I spent hours in Skyrim just wandering through the landscape before I ever got down to doing any of the quests, and I'm still only about halfway through it I reckon...

You might want to wait a bit.
Bio-Ware just patched the game with some fixes and added better character eyes, which I like, but now my game is broken.
It crashes whenever I try to go to a new world. I was really enjoying too.
I guess I will return to Skyrim, but I might play around with TS4 first and see how long I last.
Ugh...
I repaired the game, started a new save, and it's worse now. Now it crashes after a few minutes and not even going down to a planet.
I'm updating my video card drivers. After that, I will just wait for the next major patch.
My new Ryder was kind of cute too.
I think I will just play her and start the game over. I learned a lot during my play of the game. It should make for a better round to start fresh.
If they can fix this thing. Oh well, let's see how much I've missed the sims if this doesn't work.

The Gieke Legacy ‡ Wishing Upon a Star 2.0 ‡ Operation : Pollinate Newcrest
ORIGIN ID - Lynnwood84
Enjoy Skyrim, once you again emerges, you might find vampires game pack are out, plus more, depending on how long the game got a hold on you
Ideas on how to improve babies.
She feels odd;
kind of weak, kind of hungry, kind of thirsty.
Bastet found that despite eating, her hunger pains would not go away.
She was miserable the next day.
What had she gotten herself into?
She started to brush up on her vampire lore.
The change came upon her suddenly:
Oh no.
No no no no no.
You are not Bastet in any way whatsoever.
You don't even have a tail!
Change back from your Dark Form.
Fortunately you can copy the original look to the Dark Form.
But...
A Dark Form should be... dark.
Oh yeah!
I say we go out into the night.

I am taking a break from Skryim!

Do you like toddlers, though? I was never a rabid member of Team Toddler, but now we have them I do love them - the best of the franchise so far I think.
