I'm doing the 100 baby challenge and I've had 6 kids so far, and they are all girls! 4 single babies, and one pair of twins. Is this a coincidence or a glitch?
Lol so far in my legacy almost all of the children in each generation have been boys even when I put on pop music. I'll just start changing the baby's gender with MCCC.
I've got some sims that primarily get girls and others that only seem to be getting boys, and then again some who get both in equal measure. I actually like that though, as in real life it's like that too. Some people really want a boy/girl and only ever get the opposite. 6 is a lot though, I wonder if there's anything besides music and food that might be influencing this but if you really want boys, get a radio and set it to alternative
I remember a sim I had rlly wanted a girl so she ate a lot of strawberries and listened to pop music and got a bly. This was the first boy I got in ages as basically all of the time its girls
To all you beautiful people out there, have a lovely day.
Hahaha. I actually kind of like that. It makes it more 'realistic' in my opinion. I usually never try to influence a baby, but then again I generally dont have a lot of children in a family. I should try doing that to see what I get lol
In real life though, it reminds me of my cousin. She really really wants a girl, and just had her third boy xD
My solution:
The game will generate what there is less of. If I want a girl I go into manage world/households and delete most females until there are more males in the world than females. I do the opposite if I want a boy. Works every time for me.

That is interesting if it works. Still, it would probably just be a lot easier to eat carrots or strawberries to get the gender you want.
Wow. I have a lot of families who had 3 daughters in a row and possibly could have kept having daughters so to save myself the stress I just went into CAS and created them a son myself. Problem solved.
there is a 50/50 chance each time the sim is pregnant that it will be a girl. There are real life families out there with 11 boys -- I guess that could be a glitch in the matrix but I think it's probably just statistics.

Eating strawberries and listening to pop music on the radio can influence having baby girls. Your sims may have been doing that.

No, we don't have a radio or access to strawberries
