sims234
and I have seen simlar threads about having children/teens not able to be sibs of YAs
I agree with what you're trying to accomplish here. I didn't have the patience for aging, so I started out the oldest daughter (a YA born to two A parents) as a housemate of the rest of the family... If YA's wern't supposed to be sons/daughters of A's, then why make the age groups separate in the first place?!

because i am just that cool!
Please allow elders in CAS to be parents to all stages, it does happen you know.
cuz I remember I had two adult parents have one YA daughter and two teen daughters as well. I play with aging off so when I wanted to age the daughter to young adult I turned aging on and set the slider to shortest lifespan so that everyone in the house would be eligible to age up and then I only aged up the daughter to YA, left the two teens and parents as they were(parents were adults ont elders) and then turned aging off again. Does that help? Is that what you mean?
It has nothing to do with the parents, it has too too with YA's sims CAN'T be siblings of sim Teens/children in game, so a lot of people can't make their RLF family, including my self (I was just a child when my sim was an new YA), since in Edit Relationships it only lets you have 2 choices for YA's relationship with a child/teen: 1)housemate and 2)parent but no choice 3)
Yes that would be great if they extended it, just like Snacky said, it's boring if you can't make the stories as you want them. :S
