new to sims

Hi all, I'm new to playing the sims 3. I don't have any friends yet, and really not sure how to add them or even request to make new friends.
I don't think anyone only my facebook plays this.
Pls help and add me, as well as explain how to add.

Hi there, welcome ^^
You can only add friends on the http://za.thesims3.com/ website.
I believe to use the sims 3 site you'll have register a sims 3 game.
You can add me, http://mypage.thesims3.com/mypage/06Bon06

Here you can download things like other players houses or sims and you can even upload your own. The sims 3 website's forum are no longer working but have been moved here.

People use this to add people to gift in game and such http://www.thesims3.com there's also store content you can buy for more gameplay

You will have to be logged in on the sims 3 website first, then on the profile, next to the username and traits there is green text 'add as a friend'

Hi there! Welcome to the Sims 3! To add friends, go to a person's profile and click "Add as a friend" button in the top right corner. Feel free to try adding me as a friend! Also should you need more SimPoints while shopping in the Sims 3 store, you can easily get more for free by going on a store page and clicking on a pop up on the left of your screen saying "Get Bonus Simpoints!". It's an easy way to save up for the items you want

At the very top of the page is your account name, and next to it is "search". You can search by usernames from there, it's the same as my name here.

Hi, is anyone else having loading issues. my sim is not appearing, only the green symbol above her. I've tried restarting, but no change

Try to reset your sim - ctrl shift c and type in resetSim and first name last name...
