I am having an issue now that I can seem to find any help on.
- First my restaurant was not loading. Every time I tried to send my sims to his restaurant it kept going back to the world screen and wouldn't load when I clicked on the person who was in the process of travelling to the restaurant. I thought I fixed it. I went to the EA documents folder on my computer and deleted the cache as well as some error files that were starting to show every time I tried to go to the restaurant. Now the sims can go to his restaurant
- The new problem is that no patrons are coming to the restaurant. He sits there for hours reading and drinking and no one shows up.
I have no mods or custom content in my game. So what can I do to fix this now?
Comments
Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder .
If the issue remains, try going to map view and click on the lot where the restaurant is. Sell the restaurant, then have your sim rebuy the restaurant and see if that helps the issue.
