Stuck in Labour at the Hospital

My Sim is stuck in labour at the hospital because the doctor disappeared when she arrived! Am I going to have to wait til the next day when the doctor arrives at work or does anyone know a fix for this if it has happened to them?

Try sending the sim home and then sending to the hospital again.

Thank you, that worked!

I was worried if I sent her home I wouldn't be able to go back to the hospital to get the birth certificates as I'm doing a Legacy Challenge and I'm wanting those for all the kids.

When I had this happen I had to exit the game. After that as soon as my sim goes into labor I hit save, I ended up loosing a lot thanks to that.

Yea, I didn't want to exit the game as it had been an hour or so since I last saved and I had 2 kids age up in that time too.

I have a question about hospital births. And LastExceptions. Well, missing LEs, anyway. I had a very strange birth. I don't have MC in right now. ALL I'm playing with are UI Cheats, Show Sim Info, and Darker Progress Circle. Everything else is out.

I took Nina to the hospital to have her baby. The doctor left in the middle of the operation, but I just let it run to see what happened.

Very VERY strange birth scenario. I almost wish I'd video'd it. He left, her hubby was running around (parental panic, although it isn't HIS kid, it's Don Lothario's, pre-marriage).

The birth process circle filled up, baby was born and named, and then insta-vanished into the "go home" wormhole (early in the scenario)... and Nina came up off the bed into a t pose (reset).

She never did change out of her hospital gown, either, not even after the scenario finished and they zoned home (where Don was holding his son). Baby's here, but it sure seemed to be a long strange trip to make that happen.

I *expected* to get a LastException file from that, and didn't. Shouldn't I have?

I am sorry that you had the issues with the birth . I am glad that the baby has now been born and is safely with their family.

I've also had a lot of trouble with this issue. I've found that signing in works.
