Green. The white is too bright....and plain.
The green sort of guides me to where the words are. If it was just white I'd be looking all over the screen for each simmer's messages like if there's no border. So it's like: green, picture and then words. Rinse and repeat.
Weird, it says WHITE, yet if I click on it, the background goes to white and it's glaring. Some of us suffer astigmatism. Already we don't refract the light properly. White is just too white. I just checked it out and my eyes are STILL trying to adjust. Blinded. Blinded by the white, wrapped up in a Sim and getting older as I write. Okay, so I don't claim to be a lyricist. At least it rhymes.
LOL! Loved your post. Well, I mean your "lyrics," not that your eyes were scorched by the white background. I have to agree, it's pretty glaring, so I too go with the green. (Though now I have that song stuck in my head.)
