If you don't do the timed baby quest, will the game allow for an all adults community? Has anyone else tried this?

I think that stops you from getting all of the other quests behind it.

If time expires, you won't get baby-room decorations, but quest continues.
If you finish quest, you sims can have babies.

I see what you are saying. There is a sequence of quests that won't allow progressionin the game if you don't complete them.

I uninstalled the game because I don't have the time in real life to complete the quests in a timely fashion. There's no point in doing a quest if you can't get the reward.

given how expensive babies are... i sure hope so! no single parents in Freeplay! Gotta propose with the big diamond that's like 10 lifepoints, it's the closest to surefire acceptance since each ring is one attempt only.
then the baby is an additional 3 lps.
i've got mostly adults. no problems thus far. Fortunately just like our classic Sims games you can move a Sim in without marrying first. So i can move sims into sharing a house and use that house for another adult without spending to build a new house. yay!
