Should I install mods in my coputer

Ive been wanting to install some mods for a long time like the Go to school and work at other careers but i had i old compurter at the time but i just got a new one that has the space and stuff fr mods
The only thing is that im too afraid to because i dont want to ruin my new computer

and suggestion on mods you have that dont give bugs/ruin ur compurter and that work well give me the link/name
Install mods/cc from sites where many other simmers download from . If you have game issues either after installing the mods/cc or at any time, remove the mods/cc and test to see if that helps to fix the issue. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the mods folder one by one or in batches and testing after each one to see which is the cause of the problem.
Always remove cc/mods before patch updates.
